  Called Thursday to inquire about a wire transfer, told to come in and they could help. Said I'd be there Friday. Showed up at 1:05pm, finally spoke to someone at 1:10, and was told by the banker that I needed an appointment and she had a client coming in at 1:30, told me I could come back at 2. There were 4 employees in the branch and one (possible) customer. Then she told me I could take my chances and go to another branch. She was very dismissive and not at all helpful. Was never suggested in my phone conversation to book an appointment. Took my chances at the Saugus branch, and what a difference! Same number of employees, busier with customers, yet Amanda worked with me and had my wire completed in less than 15 minutes.

  I have been a BoA customer since 2007 with three checking accounts. I was never changed monthly maintenance fees, until this week. I looked at one account and saw I had a $25.00 fee debited from one of my accounts and on the next day I had a $12.00 debited from the other. I never received ANY notification of such charges and was never changed before. I called the bank and they told me the fees are monthly maintenance fees. That is unreasonable fees. They did refund my fees for this month but told me I would be charged again next. I will use this time to close out my accounts as I have already opened new accounts with PNC Bank without any fees. To top this matter off, my branch of BoA has been closed since Covid. Nothing has closed down completely other than this bank. This is my only complaint about the branch. I find their practices unacceptable. I suggest everyone look at their accounts for the stolen fees and leave this bank.

  Don't use this bank! Managers and office staff use your SS# to create fake accounts to reach their monthly quota. BANKER BEWARE!
