  Whenever I visit, I am always greeted and treated with respect. I normally get out in 10 minutes or less. People who complain need to now we are going through hard times and be patient. The place is always clean and kept up.

  I read the review about the bank not taking cash from a non-account signer; however, I have heard of that before. It something to do with money laundering, I think.

  Hello Kurt. We no longer accept third party cash deposits to consumer accounts. Checks are still accepted, you must be an account owner or authorized user on the account to make a cash deposit. You can use Mobile and Online Banking to send money to others by using just their mobile phone number or email address. Thank you. ^susan

  I work for a bank, and I understand the struggles. But I have to say BoA never fails to disappoint me. They left a bad taste for me even years ago when my parents closed their accounts due to the order BoA processed debits and credits to accrue overdraft fees. Unfortunately my landlord banks here, and I have to go once a month to deposit my rent. All BoAs in the area have a reputation óf taking forever. This branch is not as busy as some of the others nearby, but still the wait can be very long. I have gone in and had only 2 people in front of me and still waited forever. They had one teller open and she was in training. When I finally made my deposit, the teller and the other employee helping her were cold and impersonal. The whole branch feels this way. It's also very inconvenient how their hours are 10-4. I work 9-5 and don't have time to go on my lunch, so I have to plan far ahead what day I can deposit my rent. The employee at the front has been nice to me and I've seen him a couple times. But other than that, I feel embarrassed for BoA. At the bank I work for, we hear complaints of BoA more than any other institution. I think it's time for BoA to start making some changes.

  If I could give less than one star, I would. I went into the local branch today to put $150 CASH into my son's account. Before when I put cash in his account, they wanted to see my CA driver's license. So this time I had my license out and ready to show with the cash. The teller asked if I was a signer on this account, and I said no, it is my son’s account. She said B of A no longer took CASH for a deposit into an account that the depositor was NOT a signer on. I spoke with another person there as well, I am not sure if he was the manager there or not, he might have been. He verified they don’t take cash any longer. This is a BANK – they are supposed to take and give CASH. It is NOT a huge amount of money, it is a measly $150. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not do business with B of A again, and will tell all I talk to, to close their accounts as well. Ridiculous.

  I have a card that was issued by the state of California, I went in to make a withdrawal. The lady at the branch declined my request because the card that was issued just had my first name initial and my full last name. She said use a ATM. I don’t understand I have a bank account with BOFA and I gave her my new Real ID California card but Gave me no help. I need to pay rent and the most the ATM will give me is $500 a day. I live in San Jose and last time I checked rent cost more than $500. I’m reporting this person for not doing her job by verifying me completely. What a shame.

  Rude employees. I misheard the teller thinking she was ready to assist me. Turns out she was just blabbering to her coworker. She responds rudely to me she's not ready to assist me. Honestly no one at this branch ever is doing their job. They're rude and make you wait forever for simple services. No wonder computers are taking place of humans at banking institutions..They're way more efficient.

  So disappointed. In B of A's effort to make the building secure, they have removed most of the human touch. Very sterile environment. When I asked questions about my B of A accounts, I was given a piece of paper with a phone number to call. I assumed that was because I visited on a Saturday, so I went back on a weekday. Nope, no one could answer questions because they were all "specialists" and my simple questions were not in line with their specialty. So sad!
