  BLUF: Superlative experience, despite a small problem with an online transaction. I found Axel’s online through Buya.com because they were selling a particular hard-to-find power tool. I made an offer, which was promptly and fairly countered. The item was shipped promptly, and arrived very carefully packaged. Unfortunately, upon inspection of the item, it was missing an accessory that had been listed in the description and shown in the photo. No biggie, stuff happens... but, let’s see what happens when I call this pawn shop on the other side of the country and ask them to make it right. What happened next is the reason I’m leaving a review instead of just leaving it in the rear view mirror like so many other online transactions. The person I got on the phone knew exactly what item I was talking about and was SUPER apologetic about the mix-up... she said she’d search for the missing item and get back to me promptly. It was just before the weekend. I heard back a few days later from the store manager, who AGAIN totally owned the error and emphasized that he would do whatever was necessary to make it right. He’d researched the accessory online and offered me a fair refund that would cover the purchase and shipping of a replacement item. Could not have been more professionally handled; absolutely exceeded my expectations as a customer. I’m not looking for perfection (especially not when buying pawned items from across the country)... but responsiveness, ownership, and professionalism are the standard, and this business treats those important tenets as they should be. Thanks again!
