Kevin was helpful and easy to work with and is the only reason it's 2 stars and not 1. However the quality of work was terrible. I got a new front bumper. Which when returned to me didn't align with the hood and the paint finish was like someone had gone over it with sandpaper. They took it back and replaced the hood completely and were supposed to polish the swirl marks out. When I get it back there are still tons of swirl marks. Either their paint shop is the worst ever or their detail guys use filthy rags to clean it. Either way a brand new body panel with brand new paint should be flawless. Would never recommend this place. Ever.

I recently had my car serviced at AutoNation Honda from a minor fender-bender right before Thanksgiving. They helped me get everything set up including my rental car, called me several times to keep me updated on the progress of the repair and anything they had found in addition to the original claim. Would highly recommend them and use them again.

I went to the Collision Center at remote BMW and heard talk of getting pay cut and unhappy employees. They have a survey that cuts their pay. My car came back with problems and I am very disappointed. Maybe if they would pay them what they are worth, they would be better at their job or hire better body shop techs. You are as good as you pay them. AutoNation is getting so greedy. As our country is.

They argued with the insurance company for two weeks, trying to raise the amount of the repairs. During this time, the representative chosen to help us, K., went to training for a number of days while he was supposed to be working on our case. No other rep took over the handling of our case. We only received communication after leaving multiple messages for the rep via email and phone. He felt that updating us once every week and a half was more than sufficient. During the time that our car was in their shop, there was a hailstorm, and our car was damaged again. I know that, as he insisted, they're not in control of the weather, but a call notifying us of the damage so I could file a separate claim would have been nice. He didn't even see the hail damage (because he wasn't paying attention to detail) or tried to pass the vehicle off to us at handover without mentioning it. He argued with my husband in the parking lot for about a half an hour about whether or not they should have called us. There were smudges of compound remaining on the car, and the gas tank shield was not properly placed. Shoddy service, shoddy everything, and an argument and hail damage during the time my vehicle should have been in my garage to boot. They didn't even bother to wash the car for us. This all sounds like tiny petty stuff but it added up real quick. I won't go back to them if at all possible, and I recommend that anybody else who wants their car to be repaired be prepared to hound their rep and carefully inspect the vehicle afterwards, and prepare to rent a car for two weeks while they try to get more money out of your insurance company. He actually had the gall to say we should remember when reviewing their customer service survey that they gave us the car back "a day early". In actuality, it was ready the day *before* that but the rep neglected to call us until after it was too late to pick up the car. As for the actual repairs...who knows. Time will tell.

Stay away from this body shop if you plan on needing you car back quickly. My car was towed here in December 2016 after a front end wreck. We asked to have it towed to BMW In Plano however the tow guy suggested BMW Dallas (Autonation dealer) because he had a good relationship with this dealer (probably gets paid for each car they take in). The initial call was quick to let us know that they had received the car. We didn't get any weekly updates or anything so I called about a month later and nothing was done to it yet. They made up an excuse about someone quitting and someone else had to take over the job (so I gave them the benefit of the doubt). They were dealing with my fiancé since she was the one that got hit driving it. I called Robert and of course he doesn't answer so I left a message. He eventually did call me back and said he would give me weekly updates via text/email so I provided him my information. Of course he didn't give me any updates throughout the process. We would call every few weeks and leave him multiple messages each time until he would call back to give us an update. We eventually had to call and speak to his manager Richard to get updates, he would at least try to get us answers. Come March we finally got promised a date of middle of March. Well, as you expect there were problems so had to be pushed back and back until April. We told him we would arrive around 830-9 to pick up the car. And of course another delay because Robert could not balance the books on the project (which I was told he had been working on it for 2 days). Shouldn't this be done each time they received any payments from insurance companies?? I sat there for about an hour and a half waiting because I can't get my car back until everything is balanced. I finally got fed up and asked to speak with Richard. He was a bit more understanding and allowed for me to take my car. Finally home free. Maybe we should have hounded them from the get go about it and keep calling for updates. Who know maybe it would have been completed earlier. All I know is if something wasn't fixed correctly I will not be bringing it back to them. Horrible doesn't even explain their customer service. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST and DONT HAVE YOUR CAR TOWED TO BMW DALLAS. And NO I do not want to speak with the GM there's nothing to fix about this issue except maybe training your employees better.

      Response from the owner

Dat, we regret your experience with us here, but are glad you brought this to our attention. If you are willing, please call our General Manager at (972) 392-1441 for further assistance with moving forward. Thank you for leaving your feedback, and we hope to hear from you in the future.

REVISION: Unfortunately, despite excellent customer service I'm now finding several errors from a different mechanic only 3 days later...hoping bankston will correct asap. If you are ever in an accident, I HIGHLY recommend Bankston Collision. Dan was absolutely amazing throughout the ordeal of getting my car fixed. He returned calls quickly and kept me updated. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

It's a good place to get repair of your damaged car either in an accident, collision or natural calamities like hail etc. This place has a tie-up with enterprise-rent-a-car, so that customer can drop their car and can pick a rental car and can relieve there itself. The service offered here is appreciated.

Moved to TX after living in the desert Southwest for a few years. My new BMW had significant sand damage to the paint, headlights, windshield, and rear view mirrors. My insurance company, USAA, worked directly through AutoNation and the car was repaired to new finish. The quality of work was first rate. Unfortunately, I the repair had a few days delay due to incorrect replacement parts being ordered. This added delay exceeded the time USAA would pay for a rental car, so AutoNation footed the rental bill beyond what my insurance company would support. If not for the parts confusion causing delays, I would have given 5 stars.

I will not do any business with Autonation Collission Center in Addison nor buy any Autonation services in that respect in the future. Employees Bad Attitude I decided to take my wife's car to Autonation Nissan because I had not-so-bad experience with their Nissan service center in Dallas before. After an accident, when you talk to somebody, you expect a little of empathy from someone from whom you ask for help. The receptionist to whom I spoke first to get some information was so rude to me. I asked her many times to be patient to listen to what I was looking for before she understood and transferred to a Collision Manager. The next person to whom I dealt with is Kevin, an Asst.Collision Manager. He is an utterly arrogant person. Unfortunately, I found out about his bad attitude after I signed the contract. Irresponsible agents It took a month to get my wife's car back after first I contacted them. Initially an agent named Scott asked me to bring the car in. Later I was told he was in a training. I wasted two days waiting on him. I had to then deal with Kevin who brought a sheet of paper to sign - that's all he was interested in. I had to keep calling him numerous times before he told me he sent the supplemental paper to Geico, but Geico did not receive the quote at all in that two days. After seeing his lack of response and bad attitude, I decided to pull my car back. Then Kevin threatened me with restocking fee and storage fee for the car. He told me he has all the parts in and ready to start working on it. I started following up on this, but after three days I visited the office and spoke to his Manager. He had an invoice on his desk and told me, I have to pay $1200 to take the car back from their lot. I visited my car to see what is this $1200 bill for? To my surprise, they did not do any dismantling of the car and the Manager had no idea about what was that amount for. He was also confused whether I would get the parts back if I pay $1200. The story Kevin told was absolutely wrong. It took 2 weeks to get the parts. Sorry to say this, once your car is in their lot you are stuck. They delay responding to you, so in the fear of paying their hefty restocking fee, you end up repairing the car there. Irresponsible managers I had to deal with few Collision Managers after I could not deal with Kevin. The managers are sweet talking, but they don't do anything special to take care of the situation. They don't return calls most of the time. However, they are not rude like other Asst. Collision Managers who work under them. I finally got the car back repaired after a month after I spoke to AutoNation corporate office and complained about the delay. This is only part of my experience. I have yet to find out whether they have completed the work as per the work order or they over charged me for parts. I will post in a different review about my experience on that.

After being VERY frustrated by my insurance company, who dragged me to Plano for an assessment (I live in Carrollton), the adjuster mentioned Auto Nation Collision in Addison, much closer to my home. I drove over, and it was the most pleasant experience I had all day. Here ya go, fill this out, WE'LL take care of it. Terry and Matt were extremely helpful, and put me at ease in an otherwise infuriating claims process. They got my car in, I was able to obtain a rental from Enterprise on site (Sebastian with Enterprise is fantastic, too), and FINALLY I can stop worrying about this repair. Thank you!
