  I contacted Aurora through Zillow referral with attractive mortgage rates. I got contact by David Gravely shortly after I queried about the mortgage. Dave was able to provide me itemized list of quote and rate with explanations to earn my trust at first place. Since I bought a short sale house, the process took much longer than usual. Dave / Aurora was there to help me through the whole process. Very easy to work with and also provided me a very nice rate. I highly recommend this company and my loan officer David Gravely .

  I chose Aurora Financial because their rates were the best; their fees were the lowest; and their reviews were top notch.   I am very satisfied with my recent refinance experience and the outcome. I worked with Dave Gravely (loan officer), Andrew Dang (loan processor) and Maily Ung (loan closer). Working with all three of them was extremely easy and satisfactory. Excellent rate, no hidden costs and fees, no appraisals. More money in my pocket and without the refinancing stress.

  We had a great experience with Aurora. We worked with Stan Schurtz. He was very patient and honestly answered our multiple questions (for example, the pros and cons of going with a lender vs a broker). The staff at Aurora were always available via phone and email and just overall provided excellent customer service. Stan and his colleagues were able to turn an otherwise stressful process into a very pleasant one!

  Worked with Stanley and Marzetta at Aurora and Judy at Global Title. All were great to deal with. We were locked in quick with an outstanding rate (3.125/15yr./fixed) just as I wanted. I was skeptical but their location in Vienna, VA and all the excellent ratings gave me the confidence to give Aurora a try. The process was quick, painless and I could have closed sooner if I had found my documentation quicker. I've already recommended them to friends.

  Great customer service!!! Louis T. and Maria B. were both great in assisting me with the refinancing of my FHA loan into a conventional loan. I contacted Louis on 04/03/15 and was able to close on by 04/20/15, but I chose to close later. I was able to obtain the lowest interest rate compared to other lenders I contacted. They worked with Global Title. Denise M. at Global was also great. Between Louis and Denise, my questions were answered quickly, efficiently, and kept me at ease. I would highly recommend Aurora Financial. Everyone involved did a wonderful job. Everything was done via email. The key is to have all of your paperwork ready to go. Definitely an A+ company.

  I called in and had a worksheet with estimated rate and fees within 10 minutes of speaking with Nick Sebolao. The terms were excellent and the loan officer assured me that they would be able to close within 3 weeks, even though they were in Virginia (my home is in Washington state). There was constant communication between Aurora and all parties involved. They asked for a fair amount of documentation but explained that this is typical for the mortgage process and we found it to be nothing difficult. They were profession and clear from the first conversation, couldn't have asked for a better transaction.

  I decided to go with Aurora because they offered the lowest rate (of the 6 lenders/brokers we called). And i later found out that their fees were also competitive. I worked with Stan and he was great. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and responsive. Any time we need to call him he's picked up the phone immediately and has answered our questions. If I called and he was out of the office, I would get a response from in within an hour. I've even received emails from him over the weekend. Right before settlement, we had the pleasure of working with Marc. He was exceptional as well.

  Mostly good - but some miscommunications around cash needed to close. We ended up scrambling to move money between accounts to get the right amount ready to wire, but still ended up overpaying. The title company they used were extremely unprofessional and disorganized - although that is not Aurora's fault directly, they were the ones who picked them.

  I looked at three other lenders from Zillow, and no one could match Aurora's rates. They beat the rates on 5 yr ARM and 15 year fixed by 1/4 percent; and they also had the fewest "junk" fees. Louis was responsive to my e-mails. Since Aurora has in-house processors, the hand-off from Louis to Marie was smooth and Marie was equally quick to respond to my e-mails. I asked the closing date to be moved up 5 days, and they finished with 3 days to spare.
