  I separated from my employer, but Ascensus buckle and dimmed me out of my own retirement funds. They sent me four separate checks and charged me $15 for each check on top of a $60 disbursement fee. Predatory and dishonest.

  Stay away from these con artists! Long story short, they toyed with me for 5 months about cashing out my last, leftover deposit. I called 5 times and was told to wait and have a check reissued in the correct name, then they sent the wrong check again. The last time I called, they said that they should have told me the first time that I needed an extra form. I understand needing the form, but the first 4 representatives should have had the training to tell me that and the training to not lie to me by pretending to address my actual need. STAY AWAY. I am reporting this company to the SEC, SCC, and BBB.

  I want to write our experience with this company as the administrator to our company 401K program for our company and employees. They lack basic customer service skills and any issues takes them weeks to respond to you and if there is a resolution they want you to solve it and take no initiative. We found that it was nothing but hassles and lack of communication about reporting and other key functions that if you don't do their job you would have no idea that these items need to be completed. We found a great company to be our administrator, PAi, and recommend them. They are active, communicate well and want to always follow up and make sure we have all that we need. To top off us canceling our agreement with Ascensus Trust, after all of the complaints to their staff about what we are receiving for several thousands of dollars in fees per year for services, we were letting them go. They have inundated us with forms and more forms to cancel and sent a bill to us for $1500 to pay them to cancel...no were was this ever stated in any form of communication from them or brought up from their team during the cancellation process. The ethical way they practice should be reviewed by someone at the BBB or government agency like the SEC. I am not one to just write a review like this and leave always good feedback or experiences. Business owners, especially small businesses like ours, need to know how they operate.

  The bank used by my employer for 401k. Apparently the don't communicate very well and now my check deposit is stuck in limbo

  Stay clear of, outrageous fees. Not worth doing business with.
