En tropic1Have had constant issues with this institution since they changed names and abandoned a huge number of features they used to provide. First issue was that they did not replace the checks that were sold before the merger, which is equivalent to theft in my opinion. Not sure how such a thing is even legal, it certainly isn't ethical. Second issue is that they no longer have basic features like RTP, so instant deposit features of other companies no longer function, meaning you will need to wait several extra days for your payday if your job uses this feature. Apparently if people want decent banking now that "armstrong" has taken over we will all need to find new banks, unfortunate as I have been with this same bank for 16 years.

Meleah Montgomery5My husband has been banking with this bank for years, so when I started my own business I decided to get an account here, too. I have been very pleased with my experience. It changed names a few months back to Armstrong Bank and they gave us credit for free checks, which I appreciated since I had bought my checks no too long before they made the change.

nicole williams1We were planning to use a heloc to buy a piece of land to build Our dream home on. After a 75 day close had only ordered the appraisal on our home 2 weeks ahead of time. Needless to say they were not ready to close and the seller was ready to walk. We got a 2 week extension which the bank was still able to meet. We were able to find other funds to close on the land despite the banks incompetence. Now we are approaching 2 months past the original close date and still have not been able to close on the heloc. Additional paperwork and verifications have been requested from the bank even after our close date which has continued to show their disorganization. I would not recommend this bank to anyone. Save your time. If you intend to close on your property use someone else.

Kyle Dickinson1I have never been more disappointed in what once was a great banking institution. They have proven themselves woefully unable to properly handle the merger, stimulus checks, and the COVID-19 crisis as a whole. I would not advise anyone to open an account with Armstrong, and I suspect that they will lose a lot of exisiting customers such as myself. I was with Republic for over 10 years, but I will be leaving Armstrong bank as soon as possible.
