  I don’t often write reviews, and I usually like to keep a good thing to myself, but some things are just too important to keep secret from those in need. It seems like these days, words like “integrity”, “ethics”, “customer service” and “professional” are thrown around so much, they’ve lost their meaning. It’s unfortunate, I find it harder to trust people in business transactions these days, after having several negative experiences in the past. In contrast, I can’t express how refreshing it was to work with Chad. During our first conversation, I had that moment... (you know, like in the movies when a ray of sunshine comes out of the clouds and the angel music plays) that gut feeling, that we were in good hands. They say, “always trust your gut”. We’re thankful we did! I suffer from “paralysis by analysis”. I can analyze a problem or situation to exhaustion, often for days or weeks (that’s why no one wants to play chess with me). I’m also a chronic “What if...” person, which also delays my decision making. Having Chad available to answer questions and discuss options throughout the process was extremely helpful, and we never felt rushed with our conversations or intimidated to ask a million questions. Not only was he extremely patient, but he was always able to answer everything with an explanation, so we were able to understand. I feel like we learned so much through this process. Our situation was a bit tricky, being self-employed and moving from another state. We had also given notice at our rental home and as the date was approaching, we were concerned what would happen if our loan didn’t go smoothly. During our escrow, we had quite a few ups and downs. It was an emotional roller coaster ride. There were times we called Chad in a panic, worried about the status of our loan, only to end the conversation a few minutes later laughing and completely confident, things were on track. Chad is extremely organized and his communication is absolutely amazing! Always available, always patient, always pleasant, constant updates... he sets the benchmark for true professionalism. It’s obvious Chad runs 24/7 - another over-used trendy expression... but in this case, it’s true. We often find ourselves saying, “Well, that’s one and done” (meaning; that new restaurant was terrible and we’re never going there again). We’ve said that about car dealerships, mechanics, doctors... it’s rare to find a gem that you know in your gut is the real deal. Chad is 100% our life-long lender! He has earned our trust, confidence and approval. We were able to rely on him and his amazing work ethic, and he didn’t let us down! Chad has become a noun in our house (“We need to find a Chad for that…”, “…hopefully they have a Chad in charge over there…”). A true professional makes difficult things look easy. Chad made the loan process easy for us, so we had more time and energy to stress out and worry about other things! ; )

  Chad Okun is THE MAN! I knew I was in good hands ever since I first met Chad Okun. He stepped my wife and I through every twist and turn (and there were A LOT of them) of the home buying experience. As a first time buyer, I had a lot of questions. Chad never failed to answer them and always with a smile on his face. You would have sworn Chad was buying the house with us.
