I live in New Jersey and someone stole my social security number and used it to open a business account in Arizona at this bank, I called them 3 months ago and opened a frude case with this bnk and still they couldn't fix it or tell how and why this happened! I wouldn't recommend this bank for anyone.

      Response from the owner

I had to wait in the drive-thru for over 20 minutes until my transaction was complete. With gas being over $5.00 a gallon, this is completely unacceptable!

      Response from the owner

Hi Supi - Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry about your long wait in the drive-thru. We were busier than usual after the holiday weekend.

I don’t have any major complaints. I’ve been a member since my teens. The wait times at the branch on 16 and southern are literally astronomical. I wish there where more branches. MOST of the the employees are kind and respectful. They’ve helped me build my credit!! And have lead me in the right direction when vendors can offer better deals than they can!

      Response from the owner

Hi Iti – Thank you for your feedback! We're glad we could help with your financial needs.

I've been a member of AZFCU for 26 years, and during that time, they have never let me down from a financial products perspective. We have formed a great relationship, and I'm looking forward to the next 26 years!

      Response from the owner

      Thank you Owen!

First off I do love arizona federal credit union in general and im very happy with my account. HOWEVER there is a serious problem with the atm, not the drive thru one, its fine, but The one next to the entrance. The screen and buttons are VERY low and stick straight out instead of being angled slightly up like normal atms. There is no way to shield my pin from everyone seeing it while im bending down to see the buttons. My pin is visible for all to see and it puts me in a vulnerable position. Even the screen is flat and can be read from across the street. I actually saw a man use it while i pulled out on van buren and was in the turn lane. I read the screen perfactly in my car! Anyone who drives by can read whatever is on that screen. It creates a dangerous opportunity for criminals to see our personal information. Its a very poorly designed machine made for people in the 4 foot range of height. Maybe put that one IN the store and on a foot tall metal box and put a different one outside? One that has a upward angle so passer-byers cant read my screen. Maybe one of typical height too? Im writing about this as a genuine concern. Besides this poorly designed and placed atm, this branch is actually really cool and im always taken care of in a prompt and professional manner. 3 stars for the awesomeness of the bank in general, -2 for the poor design AND placement of the outside atm.

Worst credit union ever. Impossible to find an open branch on a Saturday. Misinformation posted on doors of other branches saying camelback is open when it wasnt. Their website claims saturday hours at the Washington location--doors were locked at 1pm. Total joke and waste of my afternoon. Will be closing my account with them and Hughes FCU.

Very friendly employees. The wait time was not too bad for a Saturday right before they closed. I've been a member for years and love AZ Federal! I would like to see more branches! One in Maricopa would be fantastic!!

After being a member since 1970 and having an outstanding loan as a line of credit but no checking account. I received a letter on 1-13-14 telling me that I must open a checking account and use a debit card 10 times a month or my membership will be canceled and my credit line closed, that is after a perfect record with this place. What a terrible way to treat a customer. I have never seen such disregard for customer service. No worry AFCU I will move my business to a place that appreciates it.

This is one of the worst banks in Arizona. I have been having problems with AZ Fed for a long time, but it's always little, convenience things. This branch pushed me over the edge. Frequently you are not permitted to withdraw your money in the desired format. I've been told multiple times that they didn't have quarters. I walk to this branch in the hot sun after work to get quarters so I can do my laundry. Today I was told I would have to order quarters. I went to the manager and said, either deal with my problem or I'd like to cancel my account and she just puts her hand out and says, "ok, I'll close your account out then." She made it super clear that my business didn't matter to them, and made no effort to resolve my problem. I will be closing my account as soon as I can get bills and direct deposit set up somewhere else. Stay FAR away! To whomever left the response: You think it's reasonable to have to call in advance for quarters at a bank? And what if you're out? I still need to do my laundry, just because you don't have quarters and I can call ahead to ask, my problems don't just disappear.

      Response from the owner

Hi Luke - Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We do our best to try and predict how much change we'll need on hand between deliveries. Sometimes, members come in for a larger-than-normal request for loose change and it can cause us to run out. We're sorry that we didn't have enough for you when you went in. Our team is more than happy to let you know if we have quarters before you make a special trip to the branch. Washington Park can be reached directly at (602) 683-1700. Thanks!

I don't know about anybody else that has left a bad review here...but I've been a member since 2016. So far my experiences with the bank and this location has been great! The employees have been nice to me. The guy who initially set me up with an account here was so great. I wish I could remember his name but I can't :( I think they have good benefits and all. I love this bank.

      Response from the owner

      Thank you Nadeeah!
