  My wife and I recently closed on a refinance through Area Home Lending. I can't adequately express how incredibly helpful Christopher Lewis was every step of the way. He helped us close on the original loan over a year ago and I was so impressed at his remarkable level of service that I wrote a letter to the owner because I felt it needed to be noted. I have closed on a couple loans with other companies and I've never experienced such attentiveness from any loan representative. It almost felt as though we were using some VIP service. From his near immediate response at almost any hour of the day, to his willingness to go out of his way to do research and answer tricky questions, he makes it feel as if you are his only priority.  Chris will have our business for years to come and I will definitely be sending our friends his way.

  We had initially came to Area Home Lending bu recommendation of our real estate agent, Jessica. When we first started our home loan process, everything was wonderful and perfect. We had an amazing agent, named Erin Pisani. Any questions I had, she answered. Anything she needed from me, she would let me know and made me feel great about the home buying process. The week of our projected closing, I had called Erin to ask her a question, and that’s when she told me unfortunately she was no longer with the company, but her coworker/boss, Chris Lewis, would be happy to assist us further. I immediately called, emailed, and texted Chris. He was extremely hard to get ahold of, and most questions I asked, he told me to call and ask Erin, whom he had just fired. She continued to work on our loan (thank God) and help us, even though she was no longer with the company. The day of closing, we were told to be there for 12. We ended up staying until right at 4 because the wrong paperwork kept getting sent over. WhT should have been the best day of our lives quickly turned into the worst experience I’ve ever had. It was handled extremely unprofessionally and as if Chris has never done a home loan before. I can’t believe he fired our loan officer, who I had built an amazing personal relationship with, the week of our closing and didn’t let her finish our file. I will recommend everyone go to Erin Pisani, whenever she goes.

  Area Home Lending is the BEST LENDING COMPANY in Baton Rouge, Louisiana My finance’s been trying to get a representative to assist him for weeks with a home mortgage in the Baton Rouge/Denham Springs area in LA. He’s frustrated because he was constantly being sent to voice mail and couldn't reach his contact at the big mortgage company in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. So, he asked me if I could assist him in locating a lending company in the Baton Rouge area to help him with a new mortgage on his residence. He wanted to work with a lending company that - 1). Answered their phones - regularly 2). Responsive to calls and emails 3). Followed up on items 4). Delivered quality customer service - and cares about its customers 5). Knowledgeable about the residential home lending industry and mortgage process 6). Offers a loan with good terms, fair payments, low-interest rates and fees. 7). Streamlines the process and makes it easy and convenient - for busy professionals. 8). Closes quickly and provides a smooth home closing transaction - with no last-minute surprises. I imagined this could be a difficult and challenging task - to find a lending company that could meet all of the above expectations. So, I began looking online and calling various lending companies. One lending companies name that kept coming up with excellent reviews - was AREA HOME LENDING in Baton Rouge, LA. I decided to call them and talked with the receptionist who was nice and helpful - and she introduced me to a lending expert named - Chris Lewis. I explained the situation to Chris along with my fiance's frustration with the other mortgage firm - and Chris assured me that Area Home Lending would do an excellent job and that he’d personally oversee the entire loan process. When talking with Chris, I could tell that he cared about his customers - plus he was meticulous and knowledgeable about the home lending business. I knew that Chris Lewis and Area Home Lending was the right choice. My finance’s home closed in less than 2 weeks and it was a very positive experience with Area Home Lending in Louisiana!   Buying a Home is Very Stressful, imagine adding a pandemic to the mix, but I had no control over that. I didi have a choice in choosing a lender and I am so glad I chose RHONDA BROOKS at AREA HOME LENDING. She's detailed oriented, which kept me on track. She explained every step ,making sure I understood everything fully. She communicated frequently which took my worry away. She responded to my phone calls and emails, quickly.
