Timothy Clark1This is by far the slowest most incompetent bank. They are not anywhere close to other banks speed, and the rates also are not good in comparison. Customer service is horrible, they will charge you to replace a debit card . They also shut off your debit account for no reasontp protect fraud even when you call and tell them your traveling. So when you get to your out of state destination you can bet the card will decline and then take 3 days of your life to prove it was your transaction to use your money again a half week later.

Angela Patchell1Update: Someone from the branch did call to follow up with me. I called them back twice and left a message both times. I never received a call back. Customer service is impossible to reach and forget getting anything accomplished in a timely manner! When they finally call you back, you get disconnected and I guess they just move on to the next person. It took more than an 8 hour day just for a password reset. I didn't choose this credit union for my car loan and I can say with certainty that I will never choose to do business with them again.

Brandon Sanders1Since you requested it: While visiting this location, I waited over an hour to make a car payment in the drive thru. I don't use APGFCU for primary checking so I couldn't take advantage of the online services. I understand there are circumstances preventing normal operations, Covid-19 is not an excuse for this terrible service. I've visited other banking establishments that handled this situation much better. If I knew the wait would be that long, I wouldn't have gone through, instead I was trapped. The only redeeming factor was the teller. She did her best to handle the line and was pleasant. I don't fault her, rather poor management. Especially for putting their employees in such a mismanaged situation. My recommendation would be to have an employee guiding traffic, managing lines for quick services, and providing an ETA before entering the queue. If this sounds unreasonable, make a better online experience and allow users to pay bills without requiring a checking or savings to make payments. Maybe this will reduces the amount of transactions on site, freeing up the drive-thru for those who need it.

You are able to take advantage of our online banking and mobile app services even if you don't have a primary checking account with us. Alternately, you can contact us in advance of your next payment and we can set up an ACH transfer so you don't have to visit the branch each time. Jaime Collins1Spent two hours with a someone from the bank. She was to collect information and submit it to a loan officer. She also stated that we would receive an email or a phone call if there was any additional information needed. My husband called because we had not received any correspondence. They requested ALL of the documentation that we gave the original person and stated they had not received it. It was what we wanted to use the loan for. My husband had to call back AGAIN because we had not received a phone call or any email correspondence. The loan was denied because of credit obligations. I am certain if we actually met with a loan officer instead of the original woman and spoke to them directly it would of been clear and we would of been approved, since we are using the loan to pay off the credit obligations. We only went here because we have a current bank account and a car loan. The time wasted was ridiculous. Communication between staff and client is non-existent. Ohhhh we finally got a call back from this place. But it was only to ask us to take down this review. Nice try, do better and you wouldn't get reviews like this.

Eric Williams1Absolutely horrible... I wish that there was an option for zero stars, because giving even one star is being far to generous and understanding. If you are someone who enjoys always having to call into the branch because of consistent problems with your accounts, this is the credit union for you! Hopefully you aren't in a rush though because spending 30-45 minutes on hold, only to commonly then be transferred to someone else and be put on hold again is the norm. The associates are pleasant, but it isn't really worth much when you can't get through to them. APGFCU, maybe try some less frustrating hold music, an automated callback system, or surprise us all and have enough staff to manage communications with your members. Just a thought.

Monroe Miller2Can there please be a cash ATM so I can deposit money without making an appointment or waiting in a drive threw, what if I didn't have a car, then what am I just beat on putting money in. Also why isn't there mobile check deposit on app? You guys are behind on the times. I loved PNC but since I had moved, apgfcu seemed like a better choice for me since I walk everywhere. But to learn that they don't offer many deposit options other than drive threw it's almost better to just cash my check at Walmart.

Paula Choplick1When my mother passed away, she had her car loan here. Her estate couldn’t pay the remainder of the loan, so the credit union called to reposes the car. We cooperated and told them it was at her home. We asked if they could give us a day to remove her personal possessions. They said sure and gave us a date that they would take the car. Instead of waiting for the date we discussed, they had it repossess in the middle of that very night. Neighbors called because they suspected foul play. We found out the car was taken to Baltimore City. We had to drive down to the city, deal with rudeness at the impound lot, wait for an hour to have access to the car and go through my mother’s things in the lot while they watched us like hawks. This is just the tip of the iceberg and the memory that sticks out the most. This is a terrible financial institution and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Tushar Amin1Place is a joke. Always lines at drivethru once in line you cant back out. You will spend your whole lunch hour. Branch never has anyone that can help. How can they even remain open its a total joke. Called for pay off amount for my truck.....20 mins on hold........had them call back that took 30 mins. Now after speaking with someone for over 10 mins I get put on hold while security questions are been generated..! 10 mins after answering the questions I get told that my truck was never paid off and I have a balance. So trying to make an appointment with someone at the branch. Told that they would call back with in 24 hours to make appointment. So I asked I have will continue to pay interest while I wait for you to see me. I was given an amount in December to payoff but that amount was wrong. So after spending over 2 hours on the phone and driving and waiting in line still no resolution. Still have a balance and interest accruing while I wait for the branch to call me back. Why is this branch still open ..? Wish I had read the reviews before I choose them. ONE WORD ..........HORRIBLE ...! I will def be taking my services else where what a lame excuse for a credit union.!

Coty Piechocki1I'm sorry, but I've had an account here for over 20 years. The service has become awful. The cashiers have become slower, and seem to be unprofessional. I have had nothing but problems at this location. To the point where I will drive to Belair or Forrest Hill for service. Since most locations have become drive through only, lines are incredibly long. These things should be addressed if this bank wants to keep a customer base.

Bloggs Alot1Where do I begin? The Good: They are great with financial advice. I am seeing a credit counselor there. They are nice...that is all Now the bad... I have asked about a bonus that is supposed to be given after my 3rd deposit. I have spoken to 3 different people on the matter...all promising a call back. I am still waiting. The hours are terrible...they are closed on Wed.? The hours for the rest of the week are not much better. There is no one to speak with after bankers's hours so you are stuck with no money and no help. There is NO CENTRAL call station! The app SUCKS! it does not work. I have spoken to different people about it and they gave me my information over the phone. One did help me one day get into my account but I am locked out of the account again! Customer service leaves everything to be desired and although I just opened the account, I will close it soon and stick with Navy Federal...a REAL credit union. This place is a joke but I guess the joke it on the customer in the end.
