  Mike and Tim are both great guys. Working with them was awesome. They weren’t pushy or trying to up-sell me like other places, they just wanted me to be happy. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat!

  Update: After owning the SUV a month the RPMs would jump up/down as I was driving and it felt like the transmission didn't know which gear to shift into. I took it to the Acura dealership and they had to flush the transmission fluid, diff fluids and do a computer update which cost me $815 but it fixed the issue. Then 2 nights ago the SUV left me stranded and wouldn't start because of a battery connector issue which cost me an additional $100 to take care of so I spent $900 in repairs not even a month into owning the SUV. I replaced the air filter and it was the dirtiest air filter I've seen so far and I've owned a lot of vehicles...changing an air filter is one of the cheapest and easiest things to do and it should've been done before I bought the vehicle. I left Apex Auto a voice mail about the issues and never heard back. I understand I bought a used vehicle but these are issues I shouldn't have had to deal with. I still appreciate the smooth transaction with Mike when I bought the vehicle and they seem like great guys..this is a learning experience for all. Two things in my life recently happened that initiated a need for a new vehicle, I had a second child and needed another 4-door vehicle and my other car had a serious repair come up. I'm the kind of person to do crazy research before buying things so I looked at thousands of cars online all over Wisconsin and neighboring states and was only interested in a Lexus LS250/350 or an Acura MDX. I had found several at the Goben dealerships but felt they were overpriced for the mileage, well sure enough I found one at Apex Auto. I went and looked at it, took it for a test drive and everything was great other than a couple minor things. Mike was helpful and 0% pushy which is something I really appreciate. I bought the vehicle and have been really happy overall. It was a really smooth transaction and I would definitely do it again.

  I have worked with Tim for several decades, to hear that he and his partner opened up a new auto dealership, was just the news I wanted to hear. I am a very happy return customer, who has had nothing but exceptional service with each and every auto purchased through Tim. He is a breath of fresh air when purchasing a new vehicle. I know I'm getting a quality product that has been thoroughly vetted with full disclosure. He listens carefully to what I'm looking for and makes professional recommendations on what is available or possible in the future. The application process, the financing through Summit Credit Union, and the closing process were seamless. Although, we had temporary internet issues (not related to the business), I was kept informed on adjustments to our appointments and I felt as if I was a priority. Follow up and continued service has always been easy, convenient and with integrity. Thank you Tim and Michael for the excellent auto purchase experience. 5 STARS! - No doubt!!

  I had a great car buying experience with Apex, after some challenges that Mike had to sort out. In what was a very smooth transaction, I purchased a vehicle, but unfortunately it started giving some error codes. Mike took the car back and he and David troubleshot some things and replaced some parts. After still having some issues, Mike brought the vehicle to Honda to have it looked at and taken care of. Everything was done at no cost to me. On top of that all, Mike threw in an oil change and paid for license plate upgrade to the special plates I wanted. We encountered some hiccups, but overall it was great. I definitely recommend Apex!

  My almost-22 year old son was in need of his first car financed on his own. I did some research on local dealerships, and was impressed by the reviews of Apex Auto, so we decided to check out a few cars. Mike was very helpful in assisting my son through the entire process, and very patient with him while test driving and deciding on a vehicle. I’d say Mike went above and beyond in helping us to make sure this car purchase was a great experience! I recommend Apex to anyone. And I’ll return when I need to get my next vehicle.   I'm from the Chicago suburbs but found a nice deal on Craigslist at Apex in Madison. Glad I made the trip up. They're a family operated business and are very fair and honest. The Mazda 5 I bought came with a nice 1 month, 30 day warranty. They're very friendly and I HIGHLY recommend anyone purchasing a car here. You won't be disappointed!

  Highly recommend! I went to look at a vehicle and got all the information I wanted and then some with no hesitation. Very happy with how quick and smooth the process it was to trade in my old car and get into a new one. I normally get nervous about and shy away from small dealerships but this one was upkept nicely, had an impressive selection, and all the staff was super friendly! Thanks again for the Taurus!

  Mike, at Apex Auto, made buying a car so much easier and stress free than at the big dealerships. He went over the details of each vehicle that I text drove and then let me be. I drove a few from Apex, then drove several more at three other bigger dealerships. I was back and forth with Mike, but he was still patient and friendly through it all. In the end, we made our purchase with Mike and couldn't be happier. Mike went out of his way to please but wasn't a hound while doing so. I would highly recommend stopping at Apex Auto before going anywhere else!
