ANB Bank Reviews

Joe Cantina1Fired an employee after the employee made mistakes, but offered minimal training and only criticism. Not even constructive criticism. Supervisor favors an employee who causes issues with everyone within the department. Attempted to fire another employee who had an unruly customer which caused her to be distressed. After she asked for help from her supervisor they berated her a caused her to cry. I think they're firing people to hire new people at lower rates. Beware.

Jeff M5Neil is a very capable and accommodating banker. In April 2020 he helped us apply for and receive a very much-needed PPP loan from the federal government at a time that very few banks were able to understand and navigate the convoluted application process. Without his help we would never have received the funds. We were able to apply for funds again in January 2021, and the process was smooth and painless. I highly recommend Neil for his timely, detailed, and ethical work. Neil is personable, friendly, easy to work with, very conscientious and reliable.

Pua Walker2Banked with them since they were known as Premiere. The staff has always been amazing but the bank does not offer debit cards with apple/android pay, my address continuously comes up as not on file and my mail goes back and forth between reaching me and getting sent back to them. Address hasn’t changed, it’s UTD at post office, have filled out the form with same address several times for bank- issue KEEPS happening. I opened a savings account and I was given a bad account number and when I tried to call the teller line went to an answering machine all 5 tries throughout the business day. Takes a very long time to get embossed debit cards sent and have had friends claim they’ve requested a card multiple times with no luck. They also do not do money orders for clients
Response from the ownerPua, we are sorry to hear of these issues. Please give Nancy Harvey, Senior Vice President, Senior Branch Operations and Treasury Management Support Officer with ANB Bank, a call at 303-394-5323 to discuss your concerns.

WHS Companies5Neil Burk is knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive, and was instrumental in our receiving PPP loans for our various companies. Neil worked before and after business hours to get this accomplished. He's also been helpful in our understanding and streamlining of our online banking process. We're happy with Neil and ANB Bank.

WAlter Baker5I worked Neil Burk the other day to get help with my check scanner and he was fantastic. I was given new equipment same day that Neil personally delivered! I usually work with Cindy Valdez at the Castle Rock branch and she has been amazing for past two years as well.

Lyle Jackson1Worst bank ever. Do not believe what they tell you when you open your account because they will lie to get you into open an account, and then fail to uphold their promise. Told me I'd be able to deposit checks via mobile - my one absolute must. Four months later I've drive. 14 hrs+ three times, spent over $1000 dollars, and lost 6 days of productivity just to deposit checks that could just be put in in 2 minutes. Then they are charging me fees for not having money in the account when they won't let me deposit it! This bank is not a community bank and preys upon markets where they don't have competition with ridiculous fees and policies that will ruin your business! Avoid this bank!

Kaeleigh Michelle1Just went in to make a deposit. Young new female teller complained about filling out deposit slip and found the need to inform me about how they just had meetings about this. She made a rude face and when I told her to have a nice day upon leaving she didn’t respond or say have a nice day. Maybe she forgets that I am the banks client. Have never had any of the older tellers there be rude, they are always pleasant and fill out slips. Hopefully the bank can talk their new employee about being polite and taking proper care of clients.
Response from the ownerWe’re sorry to hear your frustration. A manager will contact you shortly.

Cindy Dennis1This is the worst bank EVER! If your account isn’t at all times in the five to six figure range you are WORTHLESS to them. I have been in and out of the hospital for the last 7 years. My stepfather banks there and insisted that I move my account there in case I was too ill to take care of business. My “ reward “ for this move has been in the last year alone: deposits that even though we’re there before any debits “ disappearing while overdraft fees accrued and the deposits mysteriously “ disappeared “ until after fees appeared! To top that off it was usually while I was in hospital or had just been discharged. Calls NEVER worked to deal with the three times this happened and when I went to bank they were rude and tried to blame it on everyone under the sun except them! Then my debit card info was stolen. It took a month to get my money back even though I reported it while the transactions were still pending! The latest “ surprise “ three days before I’m to going in for surgery was my account being total drained to the penny by a collection agency even though the money was exempt because it was SSI payments! They never even looked as they are required by law to look at deposits for the last 60 if there are SSI payments they are NOT supposed to allow the debit. Then as usual it was “ too bad” we have to release garnishments. I’m not even going to try to recover the funds as it’s easier to just change banks. At least now my stepfather believes me about their cavalier attitude toward “ customers “ like me. Not in the top at very least of middle income? GO TO ANOTHER BANK!
Response from the ownerCindy, we are sorry to hear about your experience. We have forwarded your comments on to Senior Management and someone will contact you soon.
