  I've worked with Helene at American Portfolio Mortgage for a home purchase and refinance and she is fantastic! She was always available for my questions, evenings and weekends! She never made me feel like I was bothering her - she is highly knowledgeable and worked for us to get the best rate. Their fees are very reasonable and Helene was very good about saving us on cost where we could during our refinance.

  Helene is great to work with. I've used Helene for 3 mortgages over the past 15 years. She was such a pleasure to work with each time. She has made our home buying and refinance processes smooth each time. The pre-approvals she provided for both our first home and our current home were invaluable. In each situation she made sure we didn't overstretch ourselves. Too many loan officers try to get you into the biggest possible loan, but there was never any pressure from Helene to go higher. She was an ally in our process to find our dream home. Helene most recently helped us secure a refinance. With all time low rates, she helped lower our interest rate over a full point while also taking some cash out. My payment still went down and the entire process went flawlessly even in the middle of this COVID pandemic. I can't say enough good things about Helene.
