  I hate providing negative ratings; however, I do not recommend this bank for anyone. there are many better credit unions and alternative banking solutions. This bank makes it very difficult to close an Account. They treat customers poorly. Closing an old checking account was/is unnecessarily painful. Recommend that anyone with large accounts move them immediately. In addition to poor service, their systems and policies are antiquated.

  I've used this bank for years but lately they have done nothing but cause me stress. We have direct deposit, credit card and loans with them but have to jump through hoops to get any account open. It is a painful process to open and close an account. The auto draft for loan payments is faulty and sometimes does not pull the payment. They run credit checks just to open a savings account and when you need their help the most they turn their back. We will be closing all of our accounts and moving to a better credit union.

  I've been waiting a month for a copy of my title to be sent from American Heritage to have my vehicle registered and they have not been cooperative.

  My main financial institution! LOVE them! Have been a member since 2005 and only have great things to say! They are always friendly and helpful. They continue to go above and beyond. I have multiple accounts including a little savers account for my little one as well as my car loan through AMHFCU. I appreciate the events/charities they have as well such as Gelatin Olympics for the Kids-N-Hope Charity and Adopt-A-Family during the holidays. I have recommended American Heritage FCU to many people over the years and will continue to do so!

  American Heritage is like no other place in the banking world. It's absolutely the best. As soon as you walk in your greated, they also build you and help you with everything from start to finish with the customer always understanding everything involved with accounts they are very detailed which is excellent they explain everything to the point. Also the rates and percentages and rewards back is better then any Bank or any other Credit Union. Also transferring money from from checking to savings account is done right on my APP saving me a trip to the building they make ur that easy and simple for everyone.   Have been banking there for over 25 years. No problems until I hit a personal financial snag and had to claim bankruptcy. I had no issues with any other creditors except this bank. They made a awful personal situation worse.

  There is a working situation that occurs as a result of not understanding what the items in the tax return are and, as a result, asking you unnecessarily even though it is written on the form in front of everything. I don't recommend it to anyone. Waste of time!!

  I've been a member of AHFCU for 10 years. I was recently denied a car loan request without a valid reason. I had a car loan with them before,which I paid off. I also have a credit card through them with a $0 balance. I have excellent credit, so I'm really disappointed by this.

  im a nurse who recent became unemployed due to covid . i asked to refi my car loan which ive been paying for 3 yrs $140.00 ea month in finance chges plus.... they want to charge me 5000.00 finance chges. thats more then it cost me to refi my home loan.. there totally taking advantage of hard working americans... shame on these greedy crooks. im going to tade the car back to the dealer, screw these crooks...

  I been trying to get my cards renewed but they are only able to take one card. Of which my fiancé uses my other one when need to so now if I am in a jam and she is the only one that can take care of it I'm screwed because I have 2 cards but they saying they can only do a new one for only 1 card.... Great service rep but poor system.. I will be looking for a. New credit union that can satisfy my request
