  I have worked with American financial lending for a number of times and the service is always professional. The turnaround time is quick with electronic signature initially and setting up a convenient final signature session at my home with a notary. Dave Timmerman even called to alert me to a reduced cost mortgage offering on a property that was painless to execute and we did. I also have called Dave for professional advice for a relative in the mortgage market that would not directly benefit Dave, but he was helpful nonetheless. Dave continues to be my go to mortgage broker!

  We have used Dave T. and AFL for two home purchases and two mortgage refinances since 2006. Their service is outstanding. All of our transactions went smoothly and quickly.   I've been in the mortgage industry for over 30 years. I've seen and done it all; including as an underwriter, loan officer and mostly as an owner of a successful mortgage company which I proudly sold to a large national bank. I'm still in the industry and know how difficult it can be to secure financing especially when it's as complicated as my situation is. Prior to being referred to Mr. Timmerman, eight lenders told me they couldn't get me a loan or if they could, it would be at a substantially higher interest rate. So when I tell you Dave Timmerman did the impossible I know what I'm talking about. Dave is extremely well versed on the FNMA guidelines as well as having a common sense approach to lending. He went the extra mile to secure the unthinkable for me. He has such a winning rapport with the right group of underwriters who, after some convincing, agreed with his logical approach and approved my loan. On top of that, the rate he got me was much lower than I ever imagined (3.5%) and had everything done at least 2 weeks prior to closing. Thanks to Dave, I'm once again a proud of owner of a new home with a monthly mortgage payment that puts a smile on my face. Dave Timmerman is truly a credit to his profession.
