  Having read all these reviews, I'm amazed. This has not been my experience. Due to CO-VID and being paid off and loss of hours upon reopening, I've been a few weeks late in my payments and they've always been very accommodating. Admittedly, there was one time I called and the customer service rep wasn't very friendly, but mostly they've been helpful and understanding. I feel bad for those who didn't share the same experience I have received.

  Horrible experience! Especially during covid 19 out of 3 years I have had a loan with them I've never been late making an payment until now . Try to set a late payment to a much realistic date due to my financial hardship. Lost one of my jobs due to covid. they want there money asap. They don't care about their CUSTOMERS even ones that's been with them for 3 years. The website sucks as well barely gives you any information especially years statements . Never go with them ever.

  what is the purpose of having a phone number if EVERYTIME you call and entering your information to MAKE PAYMENT OVER PHONE if the damn thing hangs up on you!!! last month you guys said something was wrong with my credit card.i had to have someone else put my money into thier acct to make a payment. my card worked fine. so much for customer service.

  Customer Service Representative Shaquille was very rude today. Trying to speak over me while I am talking. Very poor customer service. And this is not the first time I have had a bad encounter with customer service. Just trying to take care of my business with them and they have no idea of customer values!

  Do not use this finance company. They take advantage of anyone they can. It's so true. Carmax screwed me over by getting this company.

  I have to agree with Jose Corona, this company is a second, third, fourth, fifth , and maybe sixth chance credit company. If you could get a loan from the bank you would not be here with this company. I agree the fees to make a payment online or over the phone are a bit high so what I did was change my billing date so I could use bill pay from my bank that is free. If you wait until the very last minute then pay the damn fees. I like them and even though I have repaired my credit I would use them again. Even when they repossessed my car they were able to work with me to pay as little as possible to get my car back. They explained to me not to ignore their calls just keep the line of communication open at all times and they would work with me. As of now today I am about to call them and get a payoff amount and pay my car off. I appreciate them for allowing me to be able to have a car on credit. Thank you ACA.

  I had a car financed through them and traded it in on June 4th. The dealership sent the payment to ACA on June 19th. They then sent me a letter on June 26th stating they had released the title. The dealership had even sold my car to someone else already. July 14, they sent an email stating my account was in default and they were going to repossess the car. Had to jump through hoops to get them to clear my account, all because they obviously have horrible record keeping practices. One note, Chardia, a manager there, actually was the one to finally take me seriously on my call and do something to fix the situation.

  ***WARNING***They REPOSSESSED my new car after having it only one year. I had lost my job recently before Christmas and they knew my circumstances and my husband was the only one working still maintaining payments but not the full amount. They lied and said they would work with us and when I woke up this morning my car was gone! No warnings! No nothing. Shame on you American Credit Acceptance. All my daughter's belongings and my families belongings are still in the car. I haven't a clue as to were they took my car. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!!!! The customer service rep that I talked with last "pretended" to be so nice and understanding over the phone but then a week later after putting NEW tires on the car and making a 1/2 of payment to show that we are trying to maintain some sort of payment they STILL came and got it. Please read reviews before buying I wish I would have Devastated Betrayed Customer 😢

  My loan was totally paid in full they sent me the pay off papers and the title to my car and a thank you letter but yet 60 days after that it was put on my credit report I guess they hoped I wouldn't see it and still is on my credit as a late payment as I have now sent in their own paperwork to the agencies to take care of the issue. I was never late on any payment. I called them to inform them and as you can read apparently nothing was done. Do not do business with them there are many other places that will help people who don't have that awesome credit. Gmfinancial for one

  This finance company is horrible!!! I would never suggest anyone to finance a car with them regardless of your credit situation. The customer service representatives do not speak English and are not helpful at anytime. There is no resolution of speaking to anyone who has the proper knowledge of resolving your issue. Their loan terms are not consumer friendly at all! They harass you if the payment is made a day late calling everyday! Even if you tell them when you’re making the payment they still call. I will be looking to get out of my loan and away from them ASAP!
