Avoid this financial because they promised to report my credit BBB Member I have been paying it for more than a year and they still haven't reported it to me and when I called they were very rude telling me that they have no responsibility to report it and even so they are charging me the interest rate of 8.81 per day which is 270 a month.

I called to schedule a payment and the girl who answered (customer service) was the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever spoke to, they have no compassion nor do they care about financial status. They do not even try to help with whatever situation you are in. They steal your money! I can’t wait to be done with them! I do not recommend this financial company at all.

They seem to be very stressed. From my observation and after having conversations with 2 seemingly well informed yet rude associates over the phone a lot of the negative reviews come from them not being able to accept payments over the phone. I was told that they are in the process of setting up a “call center” to accept online payments. In summary; They talk OVER you. Refuse payments over the phone. Expect this to be fixed in two months from Feb/14/2020 Expect me to believe that setting up a PayPal account takes two months. I would not recommend this company to small car dealership looking to build a company.

Worst experience. Was all fine throughout life of loan and my last payment all of a sudden is $180 dollars more than my scheduled agreement payments. When I called I was told that my dealership gave me wrong information and continued to explain how a financed loan works. Excuse me but i definitely understand how it works and am sitting with my agreement that I signed with your company name on it (Not my dealership name) that has all the details of all of my payments. Definitely not using or recommending to anyone else.

Worst Company that you can pretty much come across. If you don't believe me, pick up the phone and call their customer service. Listen to the way that they answer their phone. Their representatives sound like they hate their job. Regardless of the account or portfolio and service they are providing, their customer service should be excellent. I plan on calling them one day and having the Radio on the line so everyone can hear how rude they are.

Finance companies always get a bad wrap because of people not owning up to their own actions and blaming the companies for doing what we as customers agreed with when we signed the paperwork. Lets get something clear. If you buy a car and don't make your payments every single bank will start calling you and demanding a payment, no one has a nice collections department, their job is to collect a payment you are late on. If you want someone to pat you on the back and tell you everything's gonna be okay, go to a therapist. You only do business with a lender because you don't have the money to pay for the car up front, they are only there to collect on the money you borrowed from them that's it. This isn't like borrowing 20 bucks from a friend and they say pay me back when you want, we're talking about thousands of dollars on a contracted payment plan. American Auto Financing gave me my first loan when I was 18 with no credit history, a fresh job, and no co-signer. They helped me become independent and I never had a problem with them. There may have been a time or two when I needed some time with a payment, but I called them to make the arrangement, I didn't wait till my payment was past due for them to start calling me. And when it came close to finishing my loan I paid the end part off early and that was that. Fulfill your obligations to them and they will never bother you and life goes on.

Avoid financing with this company if you can. I understand they deal with people with poor credit, but it does not give them the right to ignore common courtesies or even show compassion. We always made our payments so it always shocked us how rude they were when we called for something. It was even more shocking when we were in an accident that was not our fault and we had full insurance, to receive a letter from them days afterwards reminding us that even though our vehicle was totaled, it was still our responsibility to make our payments until they receive payment from our insurance company. Our payment was not due, they did not care that it was already stressful having our car totaled while we were stopped at a stop sign; they just wanted to make sure we knew our responsibility. Please, rebuild your credit, or establish credit and go to a better bank or credit union for financing. You will get a better interest rate and you will be treated like a human being.

I had made many arrangements in the past with American Auto Financing and less than a year to pay off the car I was financing they took my car after missing 2 calls and 34 days past due. To get my car out they wanted just shy of $1200 and laughed at my wife when she called hysterically about it. I will never suggest them as a finance company.
