I have a business account here every time I deposit a check it takes 10-15 minutes. When I ask why it takes so long everyone gives me the same excuse, "I need authorization to deposit it because it's over the amount I'm allowed to do" . My deposits are never over $3,500. Also try to find the phone number to your local branch, you won't find it, they do not list it and if you try to call the 800 number and ask for a direct branch number they will tell you they can't give that to you. Why??? I have opened a business account at a different local credit union where they list the phone numbers to their branches and where deposits take take under 1 minute, like they should. There are a lot of other credit unions and even banks with much better service.

Extremely frustrated! I have been trying to execute a simple wire transfer for a week now. Every day I call and they just don't seem to know how to know how to do this. Each day they ask if they can have someone call me back but no one does. This is not the first time something this has happened. Every time I try to do something with AFCU I have problems. I inherited this account and I have had nothing but trouble. I am thinking it may be time to pull out and take my business somewhere else.

The tellers are always fast, professional, courteous and friendly. I have been doing business there for years. No matter what my need they seem to always help Me with something out of the ordinary in a kind way. From opening new accounts, home loans or getting something notarized they are always great. They have great people working there. We have established good relationships with many of them. Their rates are good and they even matched a more competitive rate with an auto loan a few months ago for me without even me asking.

I have been a customer of America First for several years. Unfortunately I had a truly awful experience at this branch. I applied for a loan online and dealt with a couple of wonderful agents over the phone. I sent everything they asked for through email and then decided to go into a branch to sign the final papers. The person I was buying from met me there so I could just hand the check over. I was told it would be a very quick process since everything was already completed. When we sat down with the loan agent in the branch she immediately began questioning the paperwork we had. I explained that it had already been reviewed and approved, we had only brought it with us just in case. She took it and went to talk to her manager. Then said she would have to call another department to see if they could accept the paperwork. While she was on the phone she was telling them inaccurate information so I tried to tell her and she put her hand up and said "Don't talk to me while I am on a call" Wow. She got off the phone and said we'd need another signature. I tried to explain, again, that this was already approved. We were only there to sign papers in person and get a check. She literally said "I can't help you and you need to leave." I could not believe how we had been treated. I hated to even think this but the seller is a black gentleman. Could that have been why we were treated so rudely? I sure hope not. But I do know I've never been treated that way at any America First branch. FYI... I called my loan agent back then went to another branch. We walked in, signed the papers, and they handed him a check. No questions or concerns.

I have been a member of America First for nine years I have personal and business accounts. I just moved to this area unfortunately I had an awful experience at this branch. They always smile and are nice but they don't have the experience they need when it comes to business accounts. They can handle basic stuff but not when it comes to how to manage business accounts they always need to go ask their manager and that's a waste of time every time a come here I spend at least 10 minutes for them to tell me they can't do it when in other brunches never had this happen.

I've been a member for years and I recently got a second car. When I tried to put my car with a loan that's in storage on storage coverage and they wanted to put force placed insurance on the car. Would not recommend them for an auto loan.

      Response from the owner

Hi Ryan, we apologize for any frustration. If you would like to be put in touch with someone, please send us an email to [email protected]. Thank you

I have always had satisfaction all the times I've been here. For the past two months I've dealing with this car issue and "Diana Dee Player" helped me out and she was great! She explained everything and answered all the questions I had. She was very patient with me and I appreciate immensely. I am satisfied. :)

America’s Worst Credit Union ! I’m done.. sick and tired of their arrogance and unwillingness to communicate. If you’re looking for a family friendly credit union definitely look elsewhere. Credit Union should not be part of their name.

I received outstanding customer service from Mike Woodruff at the Sandy branch on a document that required two notarized signatures. Mike called me when the other party had signed. Thank you for your promptness, patience, and professionalism!

The absolute worst branch in the company! Been a member for 15 yrs and every time I walk in there to deposit a check they look at you like you printed it in the car before you walked in. Do yourself a favor and go to another branch, the manager profiles and puts holds on checks due to appearance not loyalty
