  This particular location just demonstrated a complete lack of customer service and I’m seriously annoyed. They close at 6pm and I walked up to the door at 6pm and tried to open the door and it was locked. I get it, it’s closing time but I really needed to make a deposit so I knocked on the glass door. The two tellers just acted like they didn’t see me so I knocked a little l louder and all I got was a wag of the finger. I looked at my phone and watched the clock turn to 6:01pm. One minute past closing and they couldn’t show some customer care and let me in for a quick deposit? To make it worse, as I pulled out of the parking lot I looked over at the UCCU branch across the street and watched as a teller held the door for a customer to let her in the doors to help her—even though they were technically closed. I should have snapped a photo of it with the timestamp but I was too riled up with the poor service at AFCU Provo.

  I consistently get scam texts and emails from people claiming to be AFCU. I haven’t had an issue like this with any other of the 2-3 credit unions I work with. They’ve clearly had a security breach that they aren’t acknowledging.

  They freeze your account, they Block you from your legitimate funds....then customer service is 2 hours waiting...I am looking for a better place to deposit my finds, so I can access them when I need them

  Worst service ever, gone twice to deposit my landlord money, and both times employees always waste my time, I feel it's something to do with my ethnicity. Never going back don't recommend going if you're Mexican, they will just waste your time.

  I like the video screens at the drive through but the button to send the tube is extremely high for the average sized car. Highly recommend changing them.

  Very helpful employees and great customer service. So far I haven’t had any problems with this branch at all. My only advice though is that this location is in dire need of a more modernized and updated look because the building doesn’t look as nice as the other ones that I’ve seen inside and outside. And also the location needs more drive thru ATM’s because sometimes the lines do take a while. But honestly those are my only complaints, other than that, 5 stars.

  I have used AFCU for 14 years. They do an exceptional job at assisting me. Their auto and personal loans are straight forward. They have a lot of access points/ATM's and branches that are easy to find and use.

  Got me an AMAZING APR for an auto loan after Mountain America tried to take advantage of me and my limited credit. Karen is the sweetest and was super helpful.

  Throughout covid there has been a sign saying the lobby at this Provo (Freedom) location is closed but that you could use the drive thru (we need lobby services). Today, the sign was down so we decided to stop by at 11am and the doors are locked, no signage. We could see people inside but no help. Fortunately the Orem lobby is open today.
