  We have refinanced through Alternative Mortgage Solutions, specifically with Mine Novak a few times and EVERY TIME the process has been smooth and efficient. Mike is always keeping an eye on interest rates and he lets me know when the rates drop so that I can take advantage and get into a lower rate. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to refinance or purchase a home.

  Mike was very professional from beginning to end. As a first time home buyer, I never once felt uncomfortable as he made the process simple and straightforward without myself feeling like I'm missing something.   Wow, Mike was great to work with on my refinance. I called with a few questions and he got back to me right away and answered them all. Then after reviewing my options with me, Once, I decided to go forward with the best option and his suggestions it was a breeze. He was able to turn everything around and close on the refinance in 1 week.. I would highly recommend Mike and Alternative Mortgage.

  update from original review: I've actually re-financed twice with Mike since my original review. The first was a cash-out refinance in April 2020 with lower rate. The second one took place April of 2020. The newest one is just finishing up now. In 12 months time, we have lowered our rate twice, and taken 8+ years off the term of the loan, which will save us thousands of dollars. I highly recommend Mike for all of your mortgage needs. 5 star all the way! previous: I called Mike to see about a cash out refinance for my home. He took a lot of time educating me on interest rates for that type of loan as opposed to a straight re-fi. After a lot of discussion, it was decided that what he had to offer wouldn't benefit our needs. What I loved the most about the process, was that Mike was honest and told me that if he couldn't help me out he would let me know and that's exactly what happened. He even went on to let me know that I should reach out to my bank and see about a home equity line, as the bank rates would be less than what he could offer. I also found out thru Mike that I was most likely paying too much for my home owners insurance. He gave me names of 2 other insurance companies he vouched for as being honest and having integrity. This man was going to get nothing from our interaction, but he still went above and beyond to help me and educate me. That is priceless!!

  As a first time home buyer, Mike Novak went above and beyond to guide me throughout the mortgage process. I had a ton of questions through the process and Mike made him self available via many phone calls, texts, and email exchanges to help answer my questions. Mike provided all of my mortgage options in an objective and professional manner and helped me to choose the mortgage that was right for me. My closing process was unique since the house was in the midst of being remodeled prior to close which led to a longer than normal close process. Mike was able to help navigate the rate lock process and continued to monitor rates and got me locked in while he was on vacation. Truly willing to go above and beyond for his clients! Can’t say thank you enough for your help and look forward to working with Mike in the future!

  I worked with Mike while buying a new home in 2020. He got my pre-approval done quickly and was quick to respond to any questions throughout the entire process. He even helped out me out with an unrelated problem on my mom's mortgage!
