  Glacier bank now - name is appropriate... Cold as ICE! Fantastic home town bank before as Bank of American Fork, now they could care less how long you have been a customer, let alone what customer service means. Qualified for my monthly rewards checking but apparently they took that away and didn't notify me. I called customer service, pointed them to their own website with Q&A and how it described its still an active program. They said they would take wording down on the website. I asked if they could credit my measly $15 monthly interest and they said they would check with a supervisor. Nothing. Sent a courteous request to customer service via email, NADA. Mountain America is the opposite. I had a $25 fee for insufficient funds, totally my fault, call in and just like that in 5 minutes they refunded my money.

  This was a great bank when it was Bank of American Fork. I had accounts with them for almost 40 years. I have had nothing but problems since they sold. Big enough problems that I moved all of my accounts to another bank and closed my accounts here. That didn't even stop the problems. They allowed payments to go through my closed accounts (after they assured me anything presented against the accounts would be returned) and then charged me fees! I am still working to straighten this out.

  They used to be a great bank (went from Bank of American Fork, then Alta, now Glacier), now they're terrible to deal with. Constant issues with their online app and logging in via computer. I have multiple personal accounts as well as a business account with them, but am now actively seeking another bank to transfer my accounts over to.

  Not crypto friendly. Multiple calls to two different branches. Second branch knew more. Finally was able to use debit card on crypto.com but the card was frozen again after one transaction. So frustrating after the effort to get it working the first time. Lots of staff confusion. Finally got a guy that seemed to know what he was doing but it still didn’t fix the problem. Will try again tomorrow.

  Takes 10 minutes to talk to a representative for my credit card. I get transferred 3 times each time saying they can’t help me pay my bill. Nothing even hard. Been with this bank my whole life and will be switching. They just aren’t what they used to be.

  My broker got me a construction loan through Altabank and it has been a nightmare working with them. They keep sending me late fee notices on a construction loan - where no payment is due. When we sold our current home, I tried for 3 months to convince them I no longer own the home, but they charged me with force-place insurance anyway. They also told me the first extension on my loan was free. Then they charged me $1200. This is why I don't do business with banks.

  Dallen with Altabank does an amazing job! I highly recommend working with him if you’re looking for a loan for your commercial project. You won’t be disappointed!

  I have never had so many login or account problems as I have with Altabank. Constantly locked out for arbitrary reasons. This bank is an absolute headache.

  Avoid at all costs. Was a great bank for 30 years. Now it's been gobbled up twice by conglomerates.

  Trying to buy some furniture and our card got turned down even though we have more than ten times the amount of our purchase in the account. We've had issues with the daily limit before and they assured us that the problem was solved. We tried calling the customer service number and got left on hold for over half an hour where we got to listen to how wonderful Alta bank is and how much they value their customers. Alta Bank reached out and made some concessions to try to make up for all the inconvenience they caused us. I changed the rating from one star to two. We'll see if their customer service improves. Since the switch from Bank of American Fork it's not been very good.
