  I've been a member for many (+15) years. I retired 3/15/2020. I recently found out that if your account is inactive, i.e. no deposits,(interest does NOT count) for 2 years, the State can takeover the account. I went to the Market St. Office only to be told "it's Headquarters and there's no actual teller". I wanted to make a deposit to keep my account "active". Downtown Lowell on Friday afternoon is not the easiest place to find parking! I paid $1.50 to park for <15min. There's nowhere on the website, that I could find, that states there's no teller for transactions at Market St. THAT would have been helpful as I would not have bothered AND saved $1.50. I drove thru Lowell & the construction of Lord Overpass to find the Hale St office, where I made my deposit in < 5 min and was gone. A little communication goes a long way. So, NO teller at Market St "headquarters". Lastly, it's my opinion that when a member retires, but keeps the account, Align, and ALL other CU, should be advising the retiree to keep the account "active" with a deposit. You know if the State gets a hold of it, you'll play H--- getting it back.

While our Market St. Headquarters is not listed as a branch on our Locations & ATMs page, we understand the confusion and have made the clarification on our website. Thank you for your feedback. If you were to visit Market St. for any reason in the future, we do have a small parking lot that is available for members at no charge. In accordance with the Massachusetts Unclaimed Property Act, property becomes “unclaimed” when the owner has an inactive account for three years. We do send letters to notify members of the inactivity. To keep an account active, you are welcome to make regular transactions, which can include direct deposit, automatic deposits from another financial institution, mail-in deposits, transfers, or withdrawals.   Align Credit Union has always provide us with exceptional customer service. Especially when we process any type of loan through them. We recently needed an auto loan within a few days. They were able to deliver the check to us within 2 days of processing the loan and receiving all of the paperwork. If only everything we did was as easy as working with Align!!!

  I recently used Align Credit Union to help finance the purchase of a used car. I can't say enough about how great they were to deal with. I actually ran into a lot of trouble getting the paperwork I needed from the car dealer to finalize my loan. Sharon, the underwriter who was helping me, went above and beyond in the assistance she gave me. From phone calls, to emails, to staying late to finalize my loan on a Friday night so that I could pick up my check before they closed. Sharon was absolutely fantastic!! Not only did she make sure I was able to close on that car loan, but she also made it effortless to refinance my other car to save me quite a bit of money. I strongly recommend working with Align Credit for all of your needs!!

  Honestly I can't say enough good things about the people who work at Align Credit Union. Unfortunately, my furnace decided to stop working a few weeks ago in early December 2021. I heard from a friend Mass Saves offers an interest free heating loan. I immediately went to the Mass Saves website ( I had no heat at the time and I was starting to worry my pipes would freeze. ) On the Mass Saves website I found Align Credit Union as an approved loan supplier. I decided to email Align Credit Union to discuss my loan options. Denise Perrin contacted me right away and worked with me over the phone, which meant I didn’t need to take time off from work to go into one of their bank location. Denise helped me apply for an emergency heating loan and expedited the approval process. After my initial inquiry with Align Credit Union my heating loan was approved within 24 hours. A few days after that I couldn’t believe it, I had a check in my hand from the Align office location in Framingham. I've told so many people about the positive experience I had with the bank!   Super easy process to get a car loan. I did it all via email. Emelie was very clear with her instructions, and she kept me up to date all the way through the process. They have great rates too. Highly recommend.

  I went through Align credit union for my lease buy out car loan. They were so quick with providing me all the information needed so I could select the term length that worked best for me based on the interest rates. I closed on my loan less that 24 hours after stopping by the Haverhill Branch! I would highly recommend using them!

  Denise is your go to loan specialist! She will make sure that you get the best rate out there and won't make you feel like a number. She actually treats you like a human and I think that is hard to come by with financial institutions now a days! Thank you Denise and thank you Align!!!

  I have been an Align Credit Union member since the old days when it was under the old name. When we were unhappy with our current mortgage provider, we looked to Align and the process was smooth and personal. It felt like we were part of a family instead of just another customer number. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because their app and website could use some upgrades to make it a bit more user friendly.

  I am a long time customer of Align. Whether it’s mortgage or auto loan (this time was auto) my search for the best services always leads me to Align. The rates are always one of the best going, they’re flexible, their site works properly and the people are always great to work with. Many extras when you go with Align, like auto advisor which was a lifesaver!
