  Overall the accountant we worked with was very knowledgeable and helpful with our taxes but we are very disappointed with the price transparency. We were upfront on what we needed done and were quoted at a reasonable price but now that our taxes have been submitted we are being charged significantly more than we expected. We would not recommend this business and will not be returning in the future.

  I had scheduled an appointment in January with Kirk because I had several questions regarding my tax situation (being in college, dealing with dependency status, and owning a home). At that point, Kirk was able to answer my question and let me know that he would be able to file my taxes for $175. A few weeks later, I called and scheduled an appointment with Kirk to do my taxes. The meetings were all fine, and everything proceeded smoothly. Then, along the way a few things came up where Kirk or his team had questions and would call and ask something, and when I would call and give them the answer, they would never give me a call or email to let me know if/when my taxes would be done. For the first few instances, I would wait about a week and then call to follow up. It consistently took Kirk or any member of their office at least two weeks before attempting to return my call. Then, I was sent a bill for over $400. I called and again had to wait two weeks before getting a call to discuss why the bill was high/incorrect. Kirk called me and agreed that the bill seemed too high and said he would call me back the next day at the latest. When I never got a call, I called to follow up and again did not get a response. Finally, I was sent another bill, this time for about $350. I called and left another message requesting that Kirk call me because this bill was significantly higher than I was quoted. A few days later (this was over two weeks since I was supposed to receive the initial call back regarding the bill), Kirk called me and said that the bill for $350 was correct due to having multiple W2s, a home, and being in college. At this point, it had been about 5 weeks since I had the original appointment to file my taxes, so I requested that I pick up my documents, because I would be going elsewhere. When I went to pick up my documents, I was also given another student`s educational tax document, which I immediately walked back in and returned. Between the unresponsiveness/unprofessionalism, inaccuracy and/or dishonesty with quotes, and the lack of privacy concern with documents, I would not recommend Accounting and Tax Solutions, LLC.

  This was our third year using this company. First year was fine, last year I caught one mistake before taxes were filed, brushed it off as an overlook and they fixed it and moved on. This year however was a complete joke. We dropped off our taxes, two weeks later they send us our documents to sign. The return amount looked off so I called to discuss, they look it over and realize it is way off, they call me back a few hours later and it is still wrong. At this point I'm a little frustrated that I have had to catch something twice and I am by no means a tax person. Two more weeks go by and we haven't heard anything. We all of a sudden realize we see a return pending in our bank account, extremely confused because we never signed nor Ok'd anything, I call and constantly never get answers or call backs. They would not own up to their mistake other than "well that shouldn't have happened." I was told they would file to fix it which we would now have to wait 16 weeks for the corrected amount! A couple days go by and still havent heard that anything is ready, I called each day to see if it was done or what the status was, everyone told me I needed to speak to the tax preparer who was not easy to get a call back from. Finally i was called and they did not want to fix it, stated I told the front office I wanted to pick up my paperwork, ( I wanted my corrected forms, which they said I would have to pick up and mail myself), they stated the owner which I have never dealt with nor knew his name did not want to deal with it and my stuff was ready to be picked up. The most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with. I would never recommend anyone use this company!!

  Went to see Jim for the first time yesterday and he did an excellent job! He had tons of personality, our last tax guy had the personality of a pencil. Jim finished our taxes in an hour and we recommend him to everybody!

  These guys did a good job, I really liked them. I am, however, a normal guy; no business, no crazy obscure tax scenario, and my taxes cost about $350 to do. In comparison, the year before I had my taxes done for $115 (i relocated from a town 2 hours away). I personally felt this was over priced considering the amount of work that goes into it. Otherwise, great people and would recommend.

  Sadly our experience was utterly horrible and unprofessional. They underestimated our taxes by almost $30,000 and then when we asked for an explanation they stopped responding to calls, failed to file our return and refused to answer any questions. They treated us so poorly and with such disrespect I would avoid them all costs. It’s disappointing because we liked the idea of using a local office to support the community. Now we are paying a new office to clean up their mistake. I never leave reviews but if our experience helps another family from enduring their mistakes, the review is worth it.

  My husband and I have had our taxes done at ATP for years now and will continue to use them. Service over the phone is great and there is always a smiling face greeting us as we come in the door, we feel like family! We have been lucky enough to get a refund every year which is automatically deposited on time! We are confident in Jim and know that no detail is overlooked. See you next year Jim!

  Staff was really friendly and helpful. My overall appoint took 20 minutes and I was out the door. However, when I came time for me to pick up my taxes, they tried to slap me with a $275 bill for 20 minutes of tax prep. Needless to say, I grabbed my stuff and walked out. If you like the convenience and easy of getting taxes done, but don't mind paying out the nose for it, then go right ahead. There are other preparers in the metro that are much more reasonable on pricing.

  Jim has been doing my taxes for 25 years. Would never trust anyone else. He is a great man to work with. Would highly recommend him to anyone!!!

  Jim is great! We have been using their services for 7+ years and trust him 100%. My husband and I would recommend ATP for sure!!
