  Rob Roberson was very helpful and flexible. As I work out of town, Rob was willing to stay after office hours for me to come in and discuss our strategy as well as sign any documents that needed to be completed. This made the application process comfortable as a first time home owner. When it comes time to purchase our next home, we will be looking to Rob and Academy Mortgage for assistance.

  This was my third home purchase, so I knew what to expect and I was thoroughly unimpressed with Academy Mortgage. Rob repeatedly "lost" our documents and asked us to resubmit, lied to us about the costs/apr, didn't lock our rate when we asked him to (and it went up), and then had a toddler-style temper tantrum when I found a better deal and asked if they could match it. Awful experience. BofA otoh closed our deal in 2 weeks, didn't lie, or lose anything.
