  My husband and I decided it was the right time to refinance our home, so we decided to go with Academy Mortgage. We worked with Adrian González and from the beginning to the end of the process Adrian did a great job communicating with us every step of the way. Even though I’m sure he was busy with many other clients we always felt like we were a priority as he never hesitated to answer any questions or concerns we had. At first I was not looking forward to the process, but was very surprised at how smooth and easy everything went. I would highly recommend working with Adrian at Academy Mortgage!

  We started off dealing with a Mortgage Lender that we’ve used in the past when looking into buying a new home. He was taking days or even weeks to return emails and when Adrian Gonzalez first contacted us, I was hesitant because I knew our situation was complicated. We needed to sell our home which was under a VA Loan and buy a new home with a same day close, and under VA, you have to sell before you can buy the new home. We were also on a time crunch with a baby on the way. My husband and I decided to take a chance with Adrian, and boy am I glad we did. I couldn’t ask for more responsiveness with Adrian and I was able to communicate with him early mornings to late evenings and on weekends with no doubt he’d reply quickly. He also made sure that all my questions were answered and that I was aware of any paperwork that needed to be signed quickly. I was very impressed at how smoothly everything went and I would definitely recommend him to anyone I know looking to buy a home. I was also pleasantly surprised at what tips he had regarding paying off debt or putting any extra points toward my loan to make my interest rate lower. I’m extremely happy with the outcome of our home purchase and I am so glad we found such a hard working loan officer to help us with our situation. All in all, we ended up selling our home and buying a new one (with same day close) in just less than a month! The timing worked out perfectly and I know who to call if we’re ever in the market for a home again, or if we need to assist with a family member’s purchase.   I used Academy Mortgage for purchasing my first home in 2020. I worked with Michael Lara and Sara Becker which both were amazing! They were very friendly and responsive which made the process go smoothly. When it was time to refinance, I went with Academy again after contacting several other lenders. This time I worked with Chris Berg. I was skeptical in the beginning because the offer sounded too good to be true and I thought I was going to experience my first bait and switch but Chris came thru on everything he promised plus more. Anytime I called or texted, he was quick to respond. I will continue to use and refer Academy Mortgage to any looking to purchase or refi!

  Academy Mortgage is absolutely awesome. We've purchased many homes in our lifetimes; but Aaron Floman and the the Academy Mortgage team stood head and shoulders above all the other lenders. They were relentless accomplishing every task; always friendly, tactful, and innovative when dealing with difficult issues. Most of all, they put the customer first, achieving superb financing results. This is the place to go for mortgage financing, and we plan to use Aaron and Academy exclusively from now on.

  In a world where most people use Covid trickle down issues to excuse their below average service, David Milne and his staff at Academy Mortgage have maintained their pre-Covid above-and-beyond customer service, competency, positive attitudes, and professionalism. They are always on top of things, always fighting for us when outside parties make mistakes, and do an amazing job overall. We just finished using Academy Mortgage for the fourth time in the past ten years and while I've seen a decline in almost every company since Covid, there was NO difference in Academy Mortgage from our pre-Covid days, which makes them stand out even more. We are so thankful to have David Milne and Academy Mortgage in our lives.

  I'll definitely recommend this place for refi's. Slick handling of paperwork and communication. Thorough and yet easy to digest. Our first ever refi was a breeze.
