  My goodness after today I just don’t know. The service today was unacceptable, the branch manger Angela is nice but the tellers are not friendly and willing to help this company service their customers. Which is technically considered bad business. I receive much better service at Walmart Centers than the actual branch. One of the tellers I feel being racially profiled by her every single time. Maybe to the point I will stop coming to this branch for my sake and emotional security!

  Jeremy at this branch really made me obtaining a loan extremely easy! I have been in here a few times and always have a great and easy experience. The employees are well trained and efficient at their jobs. Highly recommend for checking account and loan services!!

  EVERY TIME! I come to this location it’s extremely slow! Rather it’s in the lobby or the drive through! My transactions are very simple! Either a deposit or cash a check! The customer server is below bar, especially when a customer has to wait 15-20 minutes to be helped! A care or value statement goes a long way!!

  Opened an account 2 weeks ago. Had been going. To bank and asking about debit card I never received. Staff is RUDE AF! Tried to charge me $15 for a card that I was originally supposed to get. I went to ban and Teller informed me I could come inside and get 1 printed. I said I’ve been coming for days straight for 2 weeks you couldn’t have told me last week. She checked and card had not been issued. Didn’t have time to go inside, came back today and the teller tried to charge me for card. Went over same story so he called a banker. They reviewed and noticed a card had been sent out yesterday (opened account 2 weeks ago) so he tried to make it seem like he was doing me a favor by giving me a card today but let me know he would charge me next time. Leaving US bank was the absolute worst mistake of my life

  I have had academy bank for 10 years now. I used to love the bank. The beginning of all my problems started with the fee's. I was opted out of the overdraft function and they still could not control this they allowed me to overdraft when opted out and charged me a $35 every time. when I would call the people on the phone were extremely rude. I got the impression that everybody was getting calls about the same problems. I then moved but didn't want to change banks because of the hassle of getting the payments changed to my new bank. I could not pull up my statement on their web site. They told me if I wanted paper statements it would cost me $2.50 each month to get them mailed and $5 to get them emailed. I was getting $35 fees for overdraft while opted out and $35 fees for return payment $70 while opted out of this over draft function. Wow talk about a hustle they feel like it's their money in your account. using every excuse under the son to charge you. My new bank does not do any of this!!!!! If you want to keep your money DON'T USE ACADEMY BANK!!!!

  The customer service at this bank is horrible. I called this morning 11/30/2021 and asked for the Manager, which by the way is always busy. I was greeted by a bank associate by the name of Cassie. Cassie was tremendously rude and not professional. Definitely bank elsewhere.

  Why aren't they open on Saturdays? Alot of banks are open until 12:00 p.m.

  Hello Lisa ... In many of our locations our hours are 9 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. Hours can vary by branch so please check at https://www.academybank.com/locations

  I'm currently trying again. I have been on hold for 35 mins and counting. Horrible bank and currently getting worse by the second. Academy Bank is a joke. They bought my local bank and I have been treated horrible since. They have helped other costumers that were clearly in line after me. I asked about the incident and then I recieved a voicemail from who I assume was the branch manager. They continued to tell me that i was in notice.. Whatever that means.. Then she made a point to tell me "we don't play games here, again you're on notice..

  There is only one person at Academy Bank on Church Road in Walmart that knows anything about banking. His name is Doug Beaver.. it's very disturbing others don't know anything or haven't been trained.
