  We've been banking with them for years. This past year or 2 has been horrible. Someone hacked into our account and the bank was no help whatsoever. We had to contact the place where the person made the fraudulent purchase and that company was very understanding and we received our ASAP. We've had issue where Pizza Hut double dipped up and the bank was not helpful or Pizza Hut, but luckily the bank refunded the money. But the worst part has been recently. Where we would have multiple transactions be double dipped to yesterday (1/3/19) being 4x the amount along with transferring money from our savings to cover it along with a $7 fee. I understand pulling from the savings to cover overages (which we have never been under). But they have not refunded our $7 fee yet and now my boyfriend's paycheck hasn't shown on our account when it was pending yesterday. It was just us having multiple transactions.... it's a ton of people. They'll be losing customers and we'll be one of them.

  They always act like cashing my check is a big deal, BUT they love seeing me stick it in the atm so I get a automatic two day hold and ITS A PAYROLL CHECK. Then the little snobby red headed manager treats me like I’m at a dive bar and says “the have a right to refuse my check” and THEN on top of all this they just charged my debit card for one transaction 6 times and then once my account ran out of money they threw in a overdraft fee. This is about as good as it gets banking with academy!! BEWARE

  So many negative reviews. I have banked for for 7, almost 8 years. I have never had much of a problem with them. They are pretty much always willing to work with me, explain new things, and be personable.

  Worst banking experience I have ever experienced! Not only do they not post my DIRIECT DEPOSIT at midnight (they wait until 5 in the morning!) but they also managed to put a block on my debit card for "fraudulent access", complete bullshit, I'm the only person who has used and had access to my card. So now as I need to make purchases and pay bills, I cannot. I am beyond pissed 😡
