  Worst customer service from the manager at this location. She honestly does not know what she is doing. I brought a payroll check in just like other times but this time she decides not to cash it. Has no reason what so ever except she said she doesn't feel comfortable cashing it. I can not believe she denied cashing it after I've cash these checks from my employer for the last 2 years and it'd on record. This lady is literally fluttering all over the place miss pressing buttons on her computer and messing up her tasks that she's working on constantly saying out loud "oh shoot, oh dang it I pressed the wrong button again". She seems way stressed out all the time and obviously can't do her job correctly. My legitimate check that she's cashed before but decided to not cash now for no reason is a prime example she should be fired or demoted. Take my advice and do your banking somewhere else. This bank will turn you away when you need a legitimate payroll check cashed.

  Been coming here for 5 years now all of a sudden they can't give me change for $100 because I'm not a member....who cares why do I have to have an account to do a simple change order...it's a BANK....give me change...why is it all so complicated...would never consider becoming a member here...terrible policy

  they never answer the phone and when they do they try to brush you off by telling you their system is down or telling you to call the 800 number they should hire people who have customer service as a priority

  The past few times I have had to keep a eye on my account because their atm is not putting the money in the account until days later then they charge me a overdraft fee. This has happened 2 times. Make sure to keep you atm receipt cause I made the deposit on june 11 which is supposed to go in instantly and wasnt applied until the 14. That is why I kept my receipt.

  I am very satisfied and proud of the hardworking staff at my Academy Bank Branch. Located at the Super Wal-Mart on Northern /in Glendale, Arizona. Even though they have struggled through the Pandemic/Covid-19 Era and various changes in personnel, they whethered the storm with pure professionalism and gave the best customer service affordable for the circumstances.   For the most part I am happy with this bank. I am not sure why but even though I keep a close eye on my account the numbers change. Deposits are not shown and transfers are not shown and sometimes my deposits never show up. If I pay a deposit at a hotel it doesn't get put back into my account. I dont know if its the banks fault or not. But deposits I make at the bank sometimes dont ever post to my account. Strange. But other then that its a good bank

  Don't go with this bank. There's a reason why I closed my account with them a while back. A couple of years ago I had an account with them but all of the funds I made would always turn up negative. I kept calling about it but they never gave me a straight answer and they couldn't give me an explanation. I once only had enough money to get some fast food, but the next day I was over -300 for an UNKNOWN REASON. That was the final straw. So when I recieved my direct deposit from work (which covered the entirety of the overdraft but left me with little funds left), I quickly took out the money and closed it for good. If you guys wanna actually keep your money, stay away from this pathetic excuse for a bank. They should've been shut down a long time ago.
