  Jennifer in the Business account department was an amazing help and getting my account set up. She had everything ready for me before arriving which made for an easier transaction. Her support staff and team members were very personable as well and formally introduced me to all of them for future reference.   I am so happy to be a new customer of 1st Security Bank in Silverdale, after many years of banking with one of other "big" banks, and having nothing but frustration, and being treated rudely by the other "big box banks". Coming into 1st Security Bank has been a complete breath of fresh air! The manager for the branch in Silverdale, Jennifer Strong was extremely helpful, and answered all of my questions when I was working with her to get my business banking set up. She made the process seamless, and it is so nice to know that I can call the number, and actually get a smiling human being on the other end that is ready & happy to help! I highly recommend them! They have been able to provide all of my banking needs for my business, and I will be moving all of my personal banking over as well.

  1st Security Bank has taken care of my husband and I for several months now. The employees at the Silverdale branch are kind, thoughtful, and upbeat! The bulding is clean and nicely decorated. We enjoy banking with them more than the other banks we have tried. Thank you Silverdale branch!

  We love banking with First Security! They are excellent for all of our banking needs, but they are also personal. They know us and care about our organization. They volunteer for us and look out for us. I highly recommend them!

  I worked with Danielle in the Silverdale branch. I was very impressed with her customer service. She assisted in a wire transfer of which there was difficulty on the receiving end. For my convenience, she gathered contact information and solved all the issues. I merely needed to return to the bank and sign the paperwork. You can't ask for better.

  As far as nice and polite, the are 5 stars. Bank hours? 0 stars. Temporary ATM card? 0 stars. Getting you actual ATM card? Negative 5 stars. I have been waiting and waiting for my ATM card. I took time off work to go to the bank, I was told that the branch was OUT of ATM cards. So far I have been waiting 18 business days for a card. I have tried to use my routing number and checking acct nbers to pay certain things like car insurance. Sorry, not a valid acct number. So I will be uninsured thanks to this bank. My honest recommendation, go elsewhere and bank. Siskel and Wbert gives 2 thumbs down.

  I absolutely love having our business banking through 1st Security. The employees at the Silverdale branch are simply the best- helpful, friendly and they make any request so easy. Shout out to Danielle, whose smiling face I get to see each week for our deposits, she gets my week started out right in Monday’s:)

  My wife and I refinanced just recently and we had the pleasure of working with several folks that work for first security most notablely were Shannon from the Silverdale branch and Tracey and her team from the poulsbo branch. They were available to us throughout the entire process answered all our questions and adressed any concerns we had. They simplified everything so that it was easily understandable and there was no unknowns coming our way at all. They were very professional and polite and a pleasure to work with. Customer service is a huge thing to me these days I highly suggest if you need or want to refinance go through these folks they make it seamless.
