Zions Bank Provo Region Reviews

Suzanne Whitehead1Zions Bank is the worst company I’ve ever worked with in my life. Chance after chance, and they continually mess up our accounts, make big mistakes without taking any ownership or fixing anything, and screw our small non-profit over. The new leadership is rude and condescending, and after more than a decade trying to work with them, we’re moving banks. Constant turnover in this office makes it so everyone is confused about our accounts every time we go in and have to explain who we are and what we need. Save yourself and never bank here.

Alan Williams1I opened my checking account with Zions in 1984. Things started getting bad when they opened this new building. The drive through is terrible- 2 windows in each lane means you have to wait for the person in front. If you want to go in there is very little parking close to the entrance. We also have an account at a credit union and the service is better, the loan rates are lower, and the interest paid is higher. The only reason we still used Zions is they are closer. But yesterday was the last straw. We were in the drive up line for about 10 minutes behind 1 car waiting for the cars at the windows to finish. by the time the other cars finished it was 2 minutes after closing and we and the car in front of us were both turned away. I am shopping for a new bank this morning.

Mike Gooch5My client did a commercial loan on a 6plex with Spencer Mulford, Hernan Rocha and Megan Jepperson. They did an incredible job with tight deadlines and difficult scenarios tossed their way. I highly recommend using this team to get your loans!

REVISTA ARMAS1Bait-and-switch Should be the name of The Regional Provo Zions bank location, I called the branch in advance to get a foreign exchange rate then drove 21 miles or 17 minutes later The customer service teller quote me a different rate 😭 What a scam ! Don’t trust what Zions bank customer service over the phone ever again I suggest you record the call, get the name of the customer service agent, make notes, document the scam and make a complaint to the B.B. How hard is just to set up a system to help ziosn bank customers with foreign exchange ? Just do a code for a limited time or something !

Olde Acquaintances1So disappointed in the service at this branch. I called and called their direct number to reserve and/ or pay for foreign currency. Kept being re-directed to a customer service department in southern Utah! Was told I could not pay for currency in advance, but they had plenty on hand. Drove to Provo to buy Euros, and guess what? They were out of Euros! They definitely need to work out the flaws in their system and train employees in better customer service.

Rachel Skinner2I used Zions when I was in high school and college. Shortly after I got married I tried closing my account with them. More than 2 years ago I zeroed out everything. They told me it would close automatically after a certain amount of months. Just this morning I received an email from them saying I had a statement. The customer service said it should have been closed but I would need to come in because it didn't do it automatically. I have things to do, bringing in 2 small kids into a bank I don't even like is the last thing I want to do.

L Parky1Tried to call the phone number about getting Euros for a trip. The number sent me to a call center in Texas where the lady did not know ANYTHING. She had to "look up" everything and it took 15 minutes for her to find nothing about what was available in Utah. Based on her responses, I do not think she even found that the Netherlands uses the Euro.

Marcelino Mendoza1Banking is good here sometimes, dislike going to this bank. Usually friendly assistants.

Damon McNeil4I used Zions to get foreign currency, even though I don't bank with them. There was a $10 fee but they were really easy to work with.

Matthew Hales1I will never bank with Zions again. Tons of hidden fees they don't tell you about. I had to go to this branch 3 times to resolve one issue about a fee I was never told about. I ended up cancelling here and going to CHASE.
