Man, I really wanted to switch from Wells Fargo and I have family that uses zions but the stars don’t reflect how horrendous the service is. Left work early, got there 35 minutes before closing. Waited in line, and then the lady came up after we were the last one there and it was two minutes passed 5 and said, we are closed. What are you needing? I told them we needed to open a new account and she said they were closed. I told her we had been waiting for 35 minutes and she just walked off. It’s sad, because they have no idea whether I was someone who was bringing massive business to them or someone who was just opening a regular checking account and it truly shouldn’t matter, they lost both today.

Updated review: Despite my previous review, I keep going to this location because it’s close to my office. They have improved recently. Not enough to go from 1 to 5 stars, but it seems they’ve started to get their act together. The last 2 times I’ve been in the service was good and they’ve cleaned things up. Thanks for making improvements. Previous one star review: I hate leaving negative reviews and absolutely love Zion’s Bank, but this branch is terrible. This branch is a mess every time I go in. They are slow and can’t seem to keep employees very long. Every time I get a new “teller in training.” I wouldn’t mind it if the service was good, but it’s not. Please close this branch or rebuild a new one in Lehi.

I can see why fewer people use this bank. I went to cash a Zions Bank branded check from a merchant LITERALLY 4 blocks west of this location, and they needed, or rather their "policy" is to charge persons $5 JUST to cash a check issued from Zions bank. Needless to say, this was supper petty on Zion Banks part. Nickel and dime patrons is well, patronizing. Luckily, there are better options in the surrounding area.

Worst bank I have done business with. Tellers seem poorly trained and incompetent. I opened an account with them and deposited a check, the teller told me it would be available in 24 hours. I came back the next day and I was told it was actually a 2 day hold and that I should come back the next day. I came back the next day and it turns out that since it's a new account that it actually has a 9 day hold on the check which I was not informed about and I feel that this should've been common knowledge for tellers that work at the bank. Not only does the bank staff display a horrendous level of incompetence, but the bank closed my account because of an issue with my credit check. I'm sorry that I'm not a perfect human being but I had a good starting balance in the bank, over 5000$, and I don't see why a mistake with another bank should automatically disqualify me, and that Zion's didn't have the decency to call me and let me know that they were closing the account and that I had to physically walk in and ask what was wrong with my account. Do not use this bank.

I saw some negative reviews so I was hesitant to bank at this branch but it was close to home and I had heard zions did a lot of SBA loans. I have now visited the branch 3 times and received exceptional service all three times. The last time specifically Zach went above and beyond in helping me track down some checks I had deposited prior to logging them into my business software. I am not sure if there has been a change in management, but I am a fan of this branch.

The only reason I stay is because it’s close. I took my daughter to open her first checking account. She had her learners permit and I had her original birth certificate plus all of my official ID like my drivers license and Zion’s Bank debit card. They told me that wasn’t enough and my daughter would have to have 2 forms of picture ID...apparently a high school student ID card is more believable than an original birth certificate and her mother sitting right next to her! So we drove home to get her student ID. Upon our return the overly confident guy tells me, “Oh, we need her social security number as well. Do you happen to have that?” To say I was frustrated doesn’t begin to explain how I was feeling. We were now out of time and I had to just set up my account for a direct deposit for my daughters new job. When I called customer service all the lady could tell me was that it was the Patriot Act that is causing my daughter to have to have 2 forms of picture ID and that I couldn’t vouch for my own daughter even though I had proper ID AND had several accounts at Zion’s Bank. She also told me I had to stop thinking like an honest person in order to understand where they’re coming from. SERIOUSLY???? Their customer service has just gone down hill over the last few years and it is SO disappointing.

I've been with this branch for years. Recently their customer service has been terrible. I used to be known and treated as though my patronage mattered. But that no longer happens. What is happening? As much as I hate to change banks I think I need to move. It frustrating to make transfers and cash checks. One clerk asked me what I was going to do with the cash while she was cashing my check. Long lines and weird issues happen almost every time I visit.

Worst customer service experience ever, stood in a 25 minute line with only 2 tellers. Both of whom we were walking all around the place just to complete simple transactions for customers. Meanwhile, they're also helping the drive thru line while there are 4 people sitting at their desks in the back. I was simply there to buy tickets to an event, finally my turn and am told they only take cash or check both of which I didn't have on me. You would think they'd have a sign indicating so, but of course they didn't. Then when the teller who looked like she had no clue what she was doing, tried to do a cash advance on my credit card (which I use everyday) and tells me it's declined. Mind you my I had more than enough funds. After half an hour there with 3 kids, I walked out empty handed with no help whatsoever from a rude teller. If you want to experience how they banked in the 1900's, this is the place to go!!!

The personal banker at this location went above and beyond to help me setup my new business accounts and get me what I needed. I was impressed with her knowledge and efficiency. I've banked at Zions for over 7 years and she is the reason I am there.
