  Still on hold with the 800 number, it's been 45 minutes.... But my call is "important". Maybe think about adding a callback feature so I can go on about my day without being tethered to my phone waiting for someone to answer for over half an hour. If you have a 30 minute lunch break and need to get a hold of Zeal customer service, just forget about it. Was on hold for a full hour before I just hung up. Absolutely terrible. If I can't contact a branch directly for a simple, but important issue, there should be a callback feature, seeing as this seems to be a problem for a lot of members. Absolutely horrible customer service. Will be closing my account as soon as my issue is resolved, that is if I ever get a hold of someone.

  Absolutely awful service I've been on hold for an hour and I'm at work so I can't get to the branch to talk to anyone about my account they really need to work on this 800 number I really considering going to another credit union

  This is by far the worst Zeal Facility I have ever been to. Every time I come here the doors are locked. All the lights are on and there were workers behind the desk. Multiple people walked past the door and the girl at the front desk stared at me while I waited outside trying to call and ask why there was no one in line and the doors were locked. No one answered and she still stared at me as I’m standing outside the door trying to call them.

  My husband and I just moved to the area and needed to open up a new bank account as our old credit union didn't have a branch near our new home and wasn't part of the co op. We walked in during our lunch period to be told they can't service us because there is only "one" person that is capable of opening a bank account and she was at lunch. We were asked to come back at a later time.. Well we came during lunch as that was the only time my husband and I both had off together. We even called zeal credit union customer service to only be transferred to the Goddard location who said they couldn't help us.. You need better customer service. This is nuts!

  I have been a member for years and over all love this branch, but I have been trying to call on the 1-800 line four times this morning and each time hung up after 45 min wait - (just working so let it stay on hold with hopes of SOMEONE actually answering the phone - no luck) you need to hire more people as I am worried about the customer service side and how many members are leaving because of this.!

  Need’s to be open on weekends, if you have a direct deposit come in on last day of month and it is the weekend you can not access your money until Monday. Then if Monday is a holiday you can not access until Tuesday.also online banking needs to be updated more often. You make payment on your account and does not show for up to two days.

  Thank you for your feedback. At Zeal Credit Union we take pride in providing excellent member service. We do have some options available for Saturday service. Some of our offices have Saturday drive thru service. These offices include our Allen Rd. location in Allen Park, our Livonia office on Middlebelt Rd., Southgate, Walled Lake, Westland and Woodhaven. Zeal members also have access to the Family Service Centers and Shared Branches. Family Service Centers are open on Saturday’s from 9 am – 2 pm. Saturday hours will vary at the Shared Branches, but several options are available. You can search the locations closest to you at www.cuswirl.com. In terms of online banking, we submit payments when vendors present us with a payment request. Our system will update when payments are made, but if there is a delay it is because we have not received a payment request from your vendor. Once we receive those requests from the vendor we make the payments. Again, we thank you for your feedback and will share your comments internally with the appropriate staff.

  Phone service horrible,waited on hold for 40 minutes. Can't call the individual branches for just a simple question. They won't fix anything having to do with river's edge account. Couldn't even change a due date wanted me to open up a brand new loan with them.

  They are a good bank. The closest branch does have a drive thru which drives me nuts but there it is. They have a good security/fraud dept.

  Took time off work to open an account, only one person is able to open an account for you and that person happen to be at "lunch". Piss poor first impression.

  Always receive excellent, timely and responsive service at the Taylor and Allen Park offices.
