ellena sanchez1My daughter Getting charged a $5.00 fee for not using her savings and direct deposit does not count is very disturbing. We will be taking our business elsewhere. Very sad to see how its okay to take a childs money. A transfer from an external bank was made March of 2022 and even that does not count. Now days it makes no sense how transfers and direct deposit does not count.
Response from the ownerThank you for contacting us. We initiated an inactivity fee for all accounts in 2019. At the time we established this policy a letter was sent to existing account holders informing them of the policy and the actions customers would need to take to keep an account in an active status with us. This policy is also reflected in all new account documentation for all accounts opened since the policy began. The policy is as follows: if there is no human contact with our staff on an account for 12 months we will send a letter to the account holder informing them that their account is about to be considered dormant and the account holder should contact their nearest branch to check in with our staff. A customer may simply call their nearest branch and speak with a teller, or they can mail in the form that is located at the bottom of the inactivity warning letter. The process for preventing an account from being considered inactive is a simple as possible. If the account holder does not make their presence known to us before 15 months has elapsed, then a monthly fee for inactivity is assessed. The letter details the various methods a customer can contact us to avoid the inactivity fee, and also lists the activity types which would automatically prevent the account from being considered inactive or dormant. Letters arrive to affected customers 3 months before any fees would be assessed. Three months should be sufficient time for a customer to call a branch or mail in the included form. ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions, do not involve any contact with branch staff, and therefore are not considered activity which would cause an account to not be considered inactive. After speaking with our back office, I understand that the branch has reached out to you and addressed this issue. I hope you will continue to remain in contact with your local branch for any future needs.

Majyk Stella5I’ve been banking here for over 10 years now (not counting my childhood experience). Most of my business has been electronic and it has been seamless. I love how my deposit info is sent text and keeping me updated. When I do drop in to cash a check I feel known at all the branches I’ve visited.
Response from the ownerWe sincerely appreciate the feedback. Our staff do try to recognize our customers, especially if they do visit us occasionally. We are glad that you have found utility in account alerts and online banking. Even with so much banking going digital and online, we want you to rest assured that our staff is available by phone or in branch to assist you with needs that are greater than what online services can provide. Thank you for your ongoing business. We are happy to have you as a customer.

Michael Cox5Great local bank. No hidden fees like larger bank chains and they do not sell your mortgage.
Response from the ownerThanks for pointing out some of the things that makes us different from many other banks. We appreciate the compliment.
