Cheryl Rehaume5Terrific experience here at Ace Jewelry and Loan. I'm grateful for Zach who helped me. That was kind and courteous and gave me the information that I needed. The item that I purchased is lovely, and I would be back again to make more purchases if need be. I do not know the name of the person that polish the ring for me but I'm very thankful to them as well. The transaction was smooth and easy and I felt very confident in my purchase. Thank you so much for all your help.

P Smith1Terrible selection of tools and electronics, well pretty much everything is old and over priced. The younger gentlemen at the desk was nice but needed the older guys assistance immediately to price my like new dewalt tools. He immediately suggested that I go next door because he wasn't going to "be a player" in my "situation ". I was asking to sell the items for 1/5 of the original price or price compared to home depots current price.. Business must be very slow for them as any serious pawn shop would have had no problem BUYING these items for what I was asking. I realize they have to make money too and I understand the way pawn shops operate

Cody Peterson1I had good experiences at this pawn shop when Randy owned it before Tony took it over. Now they just low ball you on everything because they are basically the only gold, jewelry and tool pawn shop in town . They told me I had time to pay on some very very expensive items I had pawned and they just up and sold them and I lost at least 60,000.00 worth of items . Be careful when dealing with Drew (tiny) because he tries to act like a tough guy when he is behind the counter but rest assured he is not so don’t let him scare you . I might just open a pawn shop so they will have to be competitive with their loans and their prices .

Felipe Crdenas3They were nice but didn't give a fair offer they buy rings but will low-ball you. I had a ring worth around 450 and they offered 35. But the customer service was good.

E Smith1I recently walked in with a friend, and staff was very rude when my friend just asked a simple question about a price of an item. I’d also like to add that the facial expressions coming from the employees also came off as rude while they were looking at us and the body language as well. I hope they aren’t like that with all people that walk in.

R. Theron Cammer5I have done a LOT of business with these guys over the last 14 years, and will do much, much more. I have bought stuff as well as pawned stuff. While they may not be the most friendly bunch I've ever dealt with, they are also not rude. They are all just business-like. One reason for that may be that they are a very large pawn shop and the shop usually has several customers and so they need to conduct business! They will treat you with respect even if what you have is not something they want. They always try to greet each person when they come in and let you know that they'll help you when they've finished dealing with people who are ahead of you. If you want a place to chat, this probably isn't it. Yes, of course they routinely low-ball stuff, but they're a pawn shop, not antique collectors. One result of low-balling is that it increases the chance that you'll come back to get your stuff. In response to the statement that they charge outrageous fees, that's not true (for a pawn shop). Another reason for their need to low-ball is the allowable interest rate in this state. The State of WA limits the interest rate to 5% a month. As a comparison, in Iowa the allowable interest rate is 20% per month. If you come back and pay off your stuff, they are genuinely happy about it. If you don't, they have overhead costs, your stuff may sit in their showcases for months and they may possibly never sell it. They are there to make a profit and if they didn't, they wouldn't be there. They are NOT ripping you off. Most of the people who think these guys are ripping them off just don't understand business, especially the pawn business. The owner, Randy, is completely honest and voluntarily makes things right. If what you want to give them is "hot", don't take it here because he will cooperate with police. While their prices aren't the lowest, they often will "deal" with you on the price. In summary, they are simply business-like and I have never seen them be rude to anyone in the many times I've been there. They don't have a problem with anyone and the people who have problems with them are those who are impatient (and don't want to wait when they're busy), those who simply don't understand how their kind of business has to operate and those who expect too much money for a loan that is secured by property. Remember, if you take something in to be pawned, they are LOANING you money, not buying it from you. In case you are interested, I am NOT a paid reviewer, in any way. I'm just a long-term customer who knows these guys well and have always been 100% satisfied with them. That doesn't mean that I've always been happy with what they offered me to pawn stuff, but that's how they have to do business.

Mofex1Very unhappy. Staff was extremely rude and refused to do their job. I called them TWICE asking if they bought DVD's or Blurays, both times I was told that they did aslong as they worked. So I spent over an hour pulling out all my old DVDs, made sure they were in the roght cases. I even popped everysingle one in to make sure they work fine, and took out the 3 that didnt. Finally after having went thru everything, I headed down there and the first disc this arrogant dude opens he says is "too scratched" even though i made sure they all worked. He then refused to even look at the brand new blu ray discs which i was told multiple times they would buy for. He refused to let me speak with the man i spoke to on the phone and wouldnt even look at a pair of diamond earings i brought in aswell. Absolutely a shady business and a massive waste of your time. Dont come here. Went next door and had 0 issues
