Joshua Fisher1Worst experience I have had at a branch regarding shared banking in the 15+ years I have been doing shared banking. Went to deposit cash into a credit union down in Florida through this location. I guess the teller didn't do their due diligence during the verification process because the cash was sent to the wrong account at the credit union in Florida. Because this was an issue that no one has ever experienced; no one their could really help me out (maybe time to do some remedial training regarding account verification process and what to do if this happens again). This is why the verification process is so important. This has never happened to me before in the past 9 years that I have lived in the area but this was my first time at this location so I guess that was the difference. Because the money wasn't in the account (an account I only use for automotive payments and insurance), the account got hit with an insufficient funds fee. The location manager agreed to pay that fee and sent the money to my account. There is your 1 star for doing that. My credit union tried contacting the branch manager and they would not give my bank the required information because they were not the member, although we had been dealing with this issue for two days so they clearly knew this wasn't a scam call. The Florida credit union had the funds but just needed a receipt with the wrong account number that it was sent to so they knew where to pull the funds from and redirect it to my account. Instead of being helpful, the branch manager decided to run it up their corporate accounting team, but only after I expressed my displeasure. Come on! We had been talking this whole time, just do your job and help me out! Now WPCU's accounting team sent over the information but did not expedite the information as one would think since it was WPCU's fault this happened. So it is essentially going to take a full calendar week to rectify this. That is taking into account that I was very proactive in this process because without that, who knows when I would get the funds into my account, which are suppose to arrive this Friday. If I decide to use WPCU again for my shared banking, it definitely will not be at this branch location. I had been very patient and understanding for the first few days but after hearing WPCU is not expediting the information to my credit union; my patient is gone. Like I was told growing up "actions speak louder than words". If the fault resides with you, than you resolve it the quickest way possible; not just your standard operating procedure. Worst shared banking experience I have had in the 15+ years of using shared banking. Congrats, this branch location gets the award!

Sarah Smith1This is the worst Wright-Patt location that I've ever been to. Yesterday I went to this bank to use the ATM and it was out of order, however because of how bright it was outside it was nearly impossible to see the screen. I stuck my card in, it slid right into the slot, and disappeared. I went inside to get some help only to be told that there was no way to get it the card out because it ends up in a locked box and whatever ends up in that box gets destroyed, so I ordered a new one. Today I received a call from this bank saying that they had my card (that is now deactivated) and would keep it safe until I came to get it. WHAT THE HELL! Why would the employees tell me that there was no way to reach the card only for me to get a call 24 hours later saying that they have it!?! I'm a very patient person and I could've waited a day for the right person to come in and get my card out for me. I just don't understand.

Jay Stegman1Wright-Patt is not looking out for you, they will lie to your face your, rip you off. They are not part of the Air Force, go to a different place, first go online so you can see how the car dealerships and the predatory lenders work together to rip you off .you will save thousands, like the Wilder group that I went to to buy a car and the lending officer work together that's their job oh, your job is to save your money.

Mery D1Hi, I just want to warn people who are planning to get a car credit loan from Wright - Patt Credit Union. So, this is the most terrible company ever. Me and my boyfriend we got a car credit loan in 2017 from them. All payment has been paid off on time because we have automatic payment. April in 2021 was the last payment and we paid of course. But we had few missing payments on January 2020, May 2020, and February 2021 because we didn't have the money to pay. I lost my second job and he is lost a job because of the PANDEMIA, we have been trying to survive. We called to the bank about that missing months and they told us that is ok, you just will have to pay at the end. But they towed my boyfriend's car today on 4/26/2021. We went to the bank and paid of doubled price, plus we paid for towing fee. Me and my boyfriend we put together all of our money to get the car back. He still not working only me working on one job. Right now we are thinking about how we will pay rent for our apartment on the first of the month. We don't have any other money. Today was a very bad day because of Wright - Patt Credit union don't understand that people trying to survive in this Pandemia situation.

Narci Zeek1My husband and I have been with WPCU since 2014 with our auto loan. Up until today, I have been nothing but satisfied with customer service, willingness to work with us when we are struggling. Today everything changed for us and I CANNOT WAIT to be done with you. We switched our auto insurance to bundle with our home insurance policy. We get a letter from WPCU with a website to go to in order to verify our insurance. If we didn’t do this, we would be given insurance added into our loan. No big deal—I verified through that website and have the confirmation email. I have been making payments consistently for years. We have recently been behind due to multiple circumstances. I had surgery in April and my brother died in May. We called to attempt to do the skip a pay and were told no because we were already late for that month. Asked what options we had, given nothing. We have been multiple months behind before and have always been given the “no worries, pay what you can, we will note it on the account.” Fast forward to today. 1 month behind. 1 MONTH. My husband gets home from work and our car is gone. Call customer service, she’s the rudest person we’ve ever dealt with. Ultimately we are told that they never received the insurance verification, even though we have the confirmation email. So they charged us $955 for insurance (that we already have and have already verified as requested by you) which ultimately increased our monthly payment. Never sent any documentation that our payment increased. No documentation that insurance verification wasn’t received and they were charging us for insurance. So now, on top of repossessing the vehicle for an insurance screw up on YOUR part.. we now have to pay extra fees that will be added to our loan? Unacceptable. I will be going into a branch to get this taken care of this week but I will never ever again go through WPCU for any financial needs and I will never recommenced anyone to this place.

skyler steele1This is the worst banking experience I’ve ever had. I have been banking here since i was 16 and customer service had going extremely downhill. There is a issue with my account and instead of receiving help and resolving the issue. I’ve been giving attitude from multiple employees. Sydney the bank tell and finical advisor is the WORST customer agent in this office. I don’t not recommend banking here. Also, Do not get a loan through wright patt, they will run your credit score multiple time for the same loan and ruin your credit score. Please take your money where you will be respected.

I’m a newer member but have experience with wright part in the past since I’m in automotive sales and many customers finance vehicles with this credit union for a reason. They are one of the top rated credit unions in all of Ohio.

Latika Horton2The low review is for the available tellers. Too many times have I had come in (all different times) and there is only one teller available. The other staff seems too busy pushing paper in their offices than keeping customers .The tellers are very friendly but I value my time and having to wait 30-45 minutes for a 2 minutes transaction is ridiculous! Fix the issue WPCU.

Brandon Hooks1Everything I asked for today, the lady did the complete. Messed up my account. I asked for my check to be deposit into my checking, she deposited it into my savings and now it have a 5 day hold on it.... I wont be returning unless one of the other ladies are there. Apparently this one didn't know what she was doing and can't follow instructions.
