  If only I could give zero stars. Worst banking experience ever. Their fees are outrageous!! Do not bank here, so many other banks are better. And the online bill pay is terrible also.

  Another banking institution withdrew money out of my account in error which resulted in my woodforest account being overdrawn. Then when the other facility wired the money back to my account, woodforest charged me $20. So the banking error cost me an overdraft fee and a fee to fix their mistake. When I called woodforest to ask about it, they weren't interested in waiving any fee's. I will be closing my accounts very soon

  I’ve banked here for years and never had an issue. Everyone is super friendly and helpful anytime I call or visit.

  Set my account up yesterday. Charged $15 for a card to pay my bills with that doesn't even work. I will be banking elsewhere due to their negligence that locked me out of my paycheck through this weekend.

  My previous financial institution changed hands and due to a PayPal snafu they closed my account leaving me with a negative mark on my banking history. WoodForest opened up a 2nd chance checking account for me with no issues. It has been a pleasure banking with them and I know the policies they have in place are to help me manage funds better. I've not met a negative person yet. No other bank has their hours and so convenient at Walmart. I just wished they had ATMs or affiliated ATMs closer to me and in other locations outside of Walmart.

  I previously had an account with this Bank. The ONLY reason why I don’t now is I like having a bank IN my STATE.... that being said, I called today to ask about the “stimulus check “ .... I had closed my account. They got the check, reopened the account and sent me an email!!! Thank You Woodforest!

  This is the worst bank ever I went to get a money order took me 30 min cause this lady was asking me all type of info just for a money order and She had a attitude I will never come here again I was better off going to a check cashing place

  Needing 3 signatures my address and my social security number for a money order is ridiculous. I will be closing this account

  If I could give less stars I would. 7 day hold on checks, Arrogant condescending bank manager. I will be closing my accounts and taking my business else where as soon as they stop holding my money hostage and my funds finally become available.

  Love banking with them. You do need a monthly deposit or they will charge a monthly fee. I don't like that. However, i do have direct deposit.
