  Recently, we found the house of our dreams before we sold ours. Since, there was a “bidding war” on this house, our realtor reached out to Will Schroeder that morning so that we could secure the financing to be able to qualify for the purchase. Will immediately called us back and qualified us so that we were able to win the contract. We had an early closing, and he diligently worked so that all the funds were available on time and our closing went smoothly. Had it not been for the quick response of Will, we would have missed out on our forever home. He is very professional, extremely personable and after this experience, I consider him our friend! I would highly recommend him to everyone!! Thank you Will!

  If you're looking for a loan officer who is honest, helpful, and easy to work with, Will Schroeder will not disappoint. He helped my wife and I through the process of buying our first home, and he remained diligent in completing all tasks, kept us up-to-date on the process, went through all the paperwork and explained everything to us in a way that first-time home buyers could understand. He was always available whenever we had questions (which was all the time), and always had an answer to those questions. We were very fortunate in having Will on our side because although the stresses of home buying were so heavy, he was there to alleviate most of that stress by consistently being on top of everything. He made the experience specific to our needs and we truly felt like we had a friend through it all. Definitely recommended!

  To say that there's a lot of paperwork involved with a home loan is an understatement, but Will was great at keeping us on track and also ensured we got the best rate available. He was easy to contact no matter when we called and always took time to explain what was happening all the way through closing. It felt like we had a friend looking out for us during the whole process. In a word, Will Schroeder is the best.

  Meeting with Will was like talking to an old friend. The first call we chatted for some time before we starting to discuss the business of purchasing a home. Will made me feel no like there was no sales pressure and just someone who was willing to listen to my needs and concerns. I came into Will’s office and was taken care of from the start. I am good at a lot of things, but technology isn’t my strength. Will was able to help navigate the process from printing out documents so I didn’t have to try to figure E signing as well as helping me print documents from his computer. He called my 401K provider to help get my retirement information, and set me up with an insurance agent for my house. Will is helpful, courteous and kind. I am thankful for his help and friendship.

  Working with my loan originator Will Schroeder was a pleasure. Not only is Will in Richmond, making it easy to meet in person or drop off files, he promptly kept me informed at each step of the process. A retail Shop owner, with several mortgages/ lines of credit, my application was a bit complicated with lots of documentation needed. Will allowed me to work at my own pace based on my work load, but always keeping the end goal top of mind. Faced with needing funds for major home repairs, Will was able to come up with a refinance plan that would give me cash out to cover heavy expenses. When I was having trouble finding a contractor for a new roof and damages to fascia boards and soffits, he stepped in and recommended a wonderful contractor who worked with my schedule and got it done in the middle of winter. At the end of the process, not only was I able to get more cash out than I expected but also received a lower than expected interest rate. Will, with his background in underwriting, really knows his business! I highly recommend him!

  William Schroeder provided excellent, thorough and personal service. He was an advocate through the process, a personal interaction in the frequently automated world of lending, and a problem solver when real life situations didn't (and frequently don't) fit in the automated template. I have always been a rate and fee shopper, yet I would feel disloyal working with anyone else after the service and treatment I received. Thankfully, that would not be an issue as he also provided me the best rate, lowest fees and greatest transparency. I highly recommend Will, and I look forward to working with him again in the future.

  Our loan had some challenges throughout the process from issues with the seller to old tax questions and more. Throughout the entire process Will was positive, innovative and encouraging. He kept the process moving forward and seemed to know at each hurdle exactly what needed to be done to ensure we closed the loan. Will was a delight to work with and I will never hesitate to recommend him to my friends and use him again myself if the opportunity arises.
