The owners make a habit of lying about their western union being out of service just so they don't have to process money transfers. Once, I called there and asked if it was working, was told yes and when I got there and askedabout it, I was told it was down again. They shouldn't advertise that service if they don't want to be bothered. I guess check cashing and pawning is more profitable. Very poor customer service.

Goofy Establishment. I took my bracelet for a pawn and he threw it on the scale, just threw it, and said $200. my bracelet weight was 19.8 penny weight. Im well aware of gold prices. I asked why so little. He said 16. i said 16 what? He couldn't even read the scale properly. given mind i had over 2ct of diamonds on the bracelet. What a rip off. Not recommended at all. Go to perfect pawn. down on Washington, they offered me $450 on same bracelet

I suggest this place re-evaluate the staff's knowledge about the services they provide BEFORE answering the phones. I called Rich and Son PRIOR to showing up asking if they replaced batteries for watches. I heard the woman put me on hold to ask someone,in which they replied yes. Therefore, the woman got back on the line to tell me yes. I walk in with TWO watches ready to get them serviced for the man to tell me "We don't have the tools to do that." Ok, so you mean to tell me I drove 30+ minutes to find out I was lied to? NOT TO MENTION, it was after 3pm which is the beginning of downtown Newark traffic. No worries, I took my business a few doors down to people who are knowledgeable and considerate of my time!

This is an absolutely horribly ran establishment, I came to purchase a money order and Charger. I went to one window and one of the employees sent me to another window, than the other employee told me that her window is closed, so then I had to get back in line waiting for one window when there were over 6 employees behind the counter. Also they’re business is over saturated or in other words messy. Not shopper friendly at all.

I don't know how someone could be a precious metals dealer and have no clue how much a gram is Very rude, curt and knows nothing of the value of an item Go to Manhattan. Deal with professional. The staff here has a dollar store and bodega mentality.

The people behind the counter ate lying to people. People dont get full or half the price on the items that their trying to pawn. Everyone is getting rip off. U can bring something thats worth $500 and they would tell its not real or its only worth $40. This place thonls everbody that come is a crack head. Dont go to this place.

Too many ratchet, rude "women" (to put it nicely.) There's not much of a problem with the guy who works there except that he doesn't believe in haggling and won't bring the price down. Other than that it's great!

Rip offs. Their pawn prices are a joke. They try to scheme on the desperate for money so they can make a huge profit. Do not go here. Better off going to Perfect pawn thats 5 minutes away.
