  Expectations made clear. Process was resolved n a week. Agents spoken to over the phone guided me well through the paydown and refinancing. One of the best interest rates I have seen in a car loan. Tellers are lgbtq friendly. Thanks for your service!

  First thought: "Put on mask before entering" - enter big sign "please remove mask for security." What the ...? Directed to a fabulous young lady to open account. So accommodating; so friendly yet professional. The process went well and efficiently. Never such a wonderful banking experience. The entire team work together One, two, three. Excellent. Had questions and (assume) the manager jumped right in - smoothly and explained my every option. Wonderful experience. The male teller had my Debit card printed before I reached him. Never had such a wonderful banking experience certainly better than with Wells Fargo. (But still wonder why "mask before you enter" and "remove mask here for security.")

  Hello Juppy, thank you for your review! To answer your question, our mask policy is two-fold. First, the governor's directive requires that masks be worn when entering a business which is why your mask is required when you walk in. Second, we ask you to briefly take off your mask after entering so that we have a visual record of everyone who enters the branch for our staff, and our member's security.   The people at this location in Reno are the BEST!. Every time I walk in I’m greeted and and feel welcome. Lourdes who is the FRS Financial Service Representative goes above and beyond in every aspect when I need any type of loan. Lourdes, from time to time if I stop by to make a deposit makes sure she lets me know the best deals they have on any loan. I have a checking account, I have previously had a personal loan, I have a refinance car loan, and she recently helped me again with another car loan. During each of these processes she has been profesional and with a great attitude when it comes to the best interest of her clients. She has become trustworthy and is a big asset to WestStar. The tellers at the front desk are very friendly and Annie always has a smile on her face and such a positive attitude.This review is past due but I had to share, how amazing and professional this team has been with my many years of experience at this bank.

  I came in today around 1:30 p.m. at the Moana branch and the lady who wears the big cross necklace was very rude to me. I’m talking like rolling her eyes because she didn’t want to help me. After my receipt printed she tossed my receipt at me like a frisbee and said, “k-bye.” I didn’t say or do anything to provoke such nasty treatment. When I first approached her I asked her how her day is going and she ignored me. The other two tellers gave this look like she was completely out of line. Thank the lord I only have to go here once a month. I will never let that teller assist me ever again. UPDATE: I feel bad for writing a negative review of my bad experience here yesterday. The manager contacted me and addressed this situation with reassurance that it would never happen again. I respect the efficiency, kindness, respect and customer service of this branch now so I am changing my 1 star review to 5 stars. I hate how I had to even leave a bad review but it ruined my day when it happened. I honestly felt disrespected and belittled but everything is 100% fine with me now.

  I've been happy with this credit union so far. The young guy who opened my account, whose name I forget, is always friendly and knowledgeable. Not sure how this credit union's fees compare to others (overdrafts are $38) but service has been good, and their fraud dectection department just prevented someone from charging $500 to my debit card.

  I love this bank..I've been a member since 2006 and I will never bank with anyone else.. they have helped build my credit and also helped me close escrow on a new house with a personal loan and I am over the top happy with everyone at this credit union.. thankyou for being my bank and my security !
