  Bad energy!! I was thankful to receive the little loan that I did receive for pawning my laptop three months ago, but upon returning to retrieve my property I was met with some of the worst, icy cold attitudes ever. I guess they thought I was gonna forfeit my property, and perhaps they were banking on it. Racial undertones (A black man in East LA where it is 99.9% Latino) and some homophobia I perceived (I being more on the feminine side of the spectrum). In any event, just terrible and ugly spirited people who work there. I definitely will not be back. I could not believe the sheer audacity.

  Mr Dozier, I am very sorry you had a bad experience in my store. I take this review very serious. I have been in business in East LA for 23 years and customer service is my #1 priority. I did not want to respond until I had reviewed the surveillance and spoke to my staff. I have done this. Upon viewing the audio and video from when you redeemed your item, I did not hear or see anything that would warrant my staff being racist or homophobic. I heard "thank you" and "please" when they spoke to you, they appeared to be very polite. I heard you even say, very kindly 'hello' to my employee who has helped you in the past. I don't understand why you would state "ugly spirited people." I remember that you even gave us a very positive review the first time you came in. The employee that helped you, is new, and in training; therefore, other staff members were assisting her in your transaction. I would say, your transaction took a bit too long to complete, and to that I apologize. I am sure they spoke to each other in Spanish-most of my employees' first language is Spanish. My staff appeared from the video to be very respectful and polite. If there is anything I can do to make up from your bad experience at my store please let me know. --Tony

  They have fabulous service! Luzma is very helpful and gives great prices. They have a huge assortment of products.
