      I was going to buying a car from a family friend. He did have vehicle loan with this bank and we made an appointment to see how we can transfer it to us and pay it off to be the owner of the car.. it was very difficult to get through the process with Tira. After all the troubles we did come into conclusion to decide to pay it all and pay the car off. What frustrated me was that...how come I can not use a visa card that is used it international but not in Wescom Credit Union. To use Visa or Master card I had to be a member of their bank.. that to me is ridiculous. Since we were limited with the options we went to cash out the rest of the amount that I was suppose to use from my card. Went to chase. It was a high amount of cash and the way they treated us was very unprofessional. I had such a high amount amount of money and they had me pull it out in public and not take me to a private spot like every other bank does and has. I will never come to this bank to deal with such a horrible unprofessionalizm.

      I can't say enough good things about Wescom. We've been members for 9 years, enjoying the benefits of their checking, savings, and other investment services. I just got an auto loan through them to buy a new-to-me car. Susan in the Sherman Oaks branch was so friendly and helpful. They gave me an AMAZING rate: 3.24% when a local Toyota dealer said the best he could do was 4.9%. I'm really happy with my entire experience here!

      I’m currently a member of a different credit union and today I applied for an auto loan through Wescom. I have a lot customers who come to me who get great approval rates through this credit union. I had reached out to my current credit union which I’ve been a member for the last 10yrs for a personal loan and offered me a ridiculous amount, which was a joke. This time around I needed a change and decided to try Wescom, for having a fair credit I didn’t know what to expect. I went in to the branch in the morning met Miguel explained my situation. He was very helpful and very professional. He completed my application and by 3pm he called me the great news and the best rate I could possibly get. I’m super excited to start my auto loan and my personal banking with them. I would recommend Wescom to anyone out there shopping for low rates. If I can get the rate that I got I’m sure you can too. :)

      I am currently a customer of Wescom Credit Union and my accounts are at the Sherman Oaks California branch. The service from the bank manager is terrible, and everything I was told when I brought my business to this bank thus far is not true, highly disappointed. The reason I had brought my business to this location was set a working relationship to establish history and bring my business banking to them as well. When discussing products with the Wescom reps on the phone it was not assistive either, the woman was put off by having to answer general questions regarding my accounts and the options I was interested in, she in fact disconnected the call before I had completed asking the questions I had for her. I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere if you are looking for a bank that is interested in working with you and providing a positive banking experience.

      I have been a member since 1964, then TECU, and have always been satisfied. Though my husband, also, had an account, it was savings, only, as our checking account was at Wells Fargo, a bank we were very dissatisfied. When the economy went downhill, due to the financial institutions, we closed the account, and changed my husband's Wescom account to checking. We have taken advantage of many of Wescom's services: established 3 college savers accounts for our 2 grandchildren, and a grand niece; purchased 6 or 7 cars, used their financial adviser services; manage/use our accounts by phone, and computer, and changed our accounts to a trust. All the while, the clerks, managers, etc., are always helpful, courteous, and friendly. The Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks branch is like a small town bank, in that they know your name, they know the transaction routines...it is like frequenting a diner, where the waitress knows, automatically, what you are going to order. I usually have a number of transaction each month. Recently, while visiting this branch, I forgot to make a payment on the credit card. I called the branch and the gentleman answering the phone took care of the transaction, and it was credited as of the same day. During the financial crash, a number of our friends, including our tax consultant, and numerous others, left the big banks and opened accounts. We are very satisfied customers and will always be Wescom customers. We recommend Wescom whenever we can.

      CLUELESS & RUDE! Rude people, had no idea how to handle business accounts and trust. Told me I could get HELOC on trust properties in name of trust. I doubted that was possible as I am commercial real estate agent. When I asked whose credit report would be used, they said mine and loan would have to be in my name which is what I thought. So why tell me it could be in trust name? CLUELESS! Susan is especially rude. She interrupts when you try to talk. She is quick to throw out stuff which is wrong and not applicable because she doesn't LISTEN. After wasting several hours on what should have been an easy bank account opening and 2 loan applications, I realized they are simply clueless. I did not open any accounts nor did I apply for any loans. Better to go elsewhere with people who listen to the situation and who know how to navigate the loan process.

      I have had issues for years with their EXPRESS VIEW... it NEVER HAS THE CORRECT BALANCE UPDATED TO THE CURRENT DATE. ALSO ISSUES with timely Auto deductions and auto deposits...and now this ACH they blame them for any deposit issues.... I guess this is a good bank???

      Parking ( metered ) along the curb ... or go to the parking structure on the side entrance , keep receipt ( cut off the account number for your privacy ... leave the top portion of receipt showing Wescom logo .. then your parking at the basement of structure is free for a short time like using ATM
