Port Charlotte Gold Pros2Inconsistent branch. Not open on Saturdays and customer service is spotty. Avoid if you need quick service. Disappointing…… most other branches are good. This one needs to get its act together.

Kenneth Erny1I would like to mention by name the teller, Suzanne, and the banker, Michael. Absolutely unhelpful. I cancelled my transaction at this branch and went to another Wells Fargo location four miles away. There I received perfectly capable and friendly service. It's my understanding that Wells Fargo prides itself on customer service. Don't go to the Burnt Store Road location in Punta Gorda, Florida.

Living Life One Day at a time1I walked into this location this morning with 6 people to greet me which was fine but now I see where everyone's hidden fees go. To employee extra people. Two people were behind the counter for one teller and ask me 4 times if I would like to switch to their bank after I continue to say I like my bank. I was there to cash a check that was written out of their bank. My bank was only 4 miles away but I did not want to have a hold put on it so I took it here so there would be no problem. Problem was with out telling me there would be a $7.50 charge on a $130 check from their bank to cash, they cashed it and charged me anyways. Do you think the best thing to do when you are trying so hard to get someone to bank with you is to give them a huge charge for a check that came from your bank? Here you go a sample of our hidden fees, I think not. I will never walk in this bank again. If I new they were going to charge me $7.5 I would have just gone to my bank down the road. They ask me twice where I worked how much I use my debit card. Listen people I was there to cash a check. I am happy with my bank. Please do not harass me to the point I want to walk out, and definitely don't charge me fees for your check. I cashed a $2000 at encore last month and there were no fees for not being a customer. Maybe you should take those hidden fees and do some focus groups rather than door greeters.

Lana Chelnokov1Went through drive thru at this location to make a deposit for someone. The drive thru teller found a counterfeit bill in my deposit and asked me to come inside which I did. The teller inside that took over was rude, did not greet me, and made me feel very uncomfortable like it was MY FAULT that the deposit contained a counterfeit bill. Not to mention this "teller" was a service manager according to her name tag. Shouldn't the supervisors lead by example and be courteous towards their customers? I don't bank there and if I were to be asked to bank there they would not get my business!

George Ellis5I was recently hacked by a computer fraud. This bank quickly helped me, even staying past coding time, to sort out the changes that had to be made in my compromised accounts. No wait and understanding listening!
