Chuck Tanner1I have a mortgage with these people. This whole organization is deceitful. Their customer service people lie and refuse to put anything in writing. They serve minority customers with preference. I was told by one of their minority customer service representatives to go see the Pelham branch manager she was white and I would like her better. I am closing all accounts. I refuse to do business with bigots.
Response from the ownerThanks so much for your feedback, Chuck. I truly apologize for the customer service you experienced and would like to review what happened in detail. Please email me at [email protected] with your full name, phone number, mailing address, Google username, and also mention your review on a Wells Fargo location (no account numbers). Patricia Farmer1These people are rude. I will spend an extra tank of gas!! To go to another branch to by pass these people!! You might want to have your notaries to train the tellers!! IT IS NOT YOUR JOB TO QUESTION A SIGNATURE ON A MONEY ORDER. BY THE WAY UR NOTARIES DO NOT USE BOOKS. AT THIS LOCATION!! YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK THE STATE LAWS.
Response from the ownerI'm sorry you were upset after visiting this branch, Patricia. If you'd like to discuss your experience with a specialist, please share some more details along with your full name, phone number, and address in an email to [email protected]. Darlene Record1This associate named Virginia was terrible and tried to fake by her voice that she as friendly but she was trying every bit to annoy me by her attitude, not her questions! She could have told me and my husband that you can only withdraw 2,000.00 a day fora transaction! But my husband had to leave the place of business where he was purchasing chemicals to do his job, which by the way is a time constraint for him. Go to the bank to find out this information and try to get back across town before they close to pick up his order! I should have known when I mistook her name for a different name when I first called; and she was going to hang up on me; that she was not helpful at all—it would have been worth it to wait a period of time to get someone else—I hate dogooders! They pretend to be nice while they slip a knife in your back!!! If I hear the name VIRGINIA again when I call Wells Fargo Bank, I will hang up!! People like this should be fired!
Response from the ownerI'd like to learn more about your experience, Darlene. Could you email me at [email protected] with some more details about what happened? Please mention your review and Google username so I can keep an eye out for your message (no account numbers). I look forward to discussing this further. -Shannon, Wells Fargo HL Social

Jan Musso1I went to Wells Fargo for a simple deposit into my checking account. I stood in line 23 minutes. There were only four tellers including the drive through teller. Some of those were walking in and out of a back room with no speed in their step. At one point in my wait, only one teller was working with a customer for a long period of time, while the line grew almost to the door. This is unacceptable.
Response from the ownerHi, Jan. I'm truly sorry about your experience at this branch, as I know how frustrating a long wait can be. To ensure I can forward your feedback to the appropriate team, please mention your review on a Wells Fargo location and Google username in an email to [email protected] (no account numbers). Thanks so much. -Nick, Wells Fargo HL Social

Penny Jones1We moved here from another area of Alabama. We got great customer service there. This branch has the worst customer service I have ever seen. When we went in and met with a banker, he was rude and seem irritated that his day had been interrupted. When we went through the drive in to make a small deposit, I watched through the window as three tellers laughed and carried on a ten minute conversation before taking care of my transaction. Today, I tried to call the branch, I got put on hold for a long time and then got cut off. The last time I called, no one at the branch would pick up the phone so it transferred to the call center. The lady tried to call the branch so they could help me with my question, and I was cut off again. We are shopping for another bank after being with Wells Fargo for over 30 years. I would have given zero stars if I could, but it wouldn't let me post unless I gave at least one star.

Allan Wilson1I am a small business owner and I understand that some times things can be misunderstood. I recently closed my Wells Fargo Bank account and changed to Bryant Bank for my personal banking because Bryant was doing such a good job with our commercial account. I was told the account was closed. Wells Fargo allowed a charge to go through the day after I closed my account that I had forgotten to change over. The charge was for $16 and the over draft charge was $35. Normally I would just pay it and be done but I was told the account was closed and there is not reasonable way for me to find every single vendor that I have my card on file with. When I called to just pay and be done I just asked for verification that my account would be closed for good with no more charges going through and the rep told me he couldn't send emails out of the building but I would get something in the mail in 2 weeks. I asked if I could go to a branch and he told me that I could go put payments had to be made to his department and whatever the branch manager decided to do was on them. Long story short I just paid it and I hope they do what they say and will not allow any more charges on this closed account. But it goes to show why I changed to a more local bank like Bryant Bank and I can promise I will never do business again with Wells Fargo and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Irene Hill1I sincerely wish there was a negative star because giving them one star is too much . I personally bank with Wells Fargo and also have been a pervious employee so I’m fairly familiar with the procedures. I found a wallet at a local Walmart that just so happen to have cash and a WF debit card, because I have banker knowledge I felt it would be more “protected” at the bank not to mention they have the ability to look up the clients personal information - call them and tell them that their wallet was there in a safe secure spot . I mean what way to continue to show your customers “WOW” customer service right! Wrong , not only was I declined to leave the wallet but was also yelled at and talked over. I was simply trying to the do right thing and drove off upset I had been treated like this. I will just wait to do my personal banking else where instead of going to the alabaster wells since everything is a problem with them and they can’t handle “complicated” . No wonder why wells has gone completely under.
Response from the ownerI’m truly sorry to see this, Irene. Let me look into what happened. Please email [email protected] with your full name, Google username, phone number, and address (no account numbers). Be sure to include some more details and mention you posted this review. Thank you in advance. -Liz, Wells Fargo HL Social

Abilene Di5I love my bank, never had a prob with it. Since the beginning they gave me a list of their guidelines for my account and never had any issues... Though I do most of my banking online, I've always chosen this specific branch if I ever need to go in.

Brittney Shaquor2I only opened a Wells Fargo account because I was changing states and the credit union I'm with wasn't at my new location. Now I'm back in Alabama and seriously considering either going back exclusively to my credit union or switching to another bank. Too many loops and bounds to jump through to get things done. I can't even cash my checks right now when my name is on them. It's ridiculous.
