Wells Fargo Bank Reviews

Justin Leamy1Probably the worst bank I have ever been too, rude tellers, understaffed and have no knowledge. Went to make 5 deposits and it took OVER 45 minutes for them to complete it. The teller decided it would be a good idea to take her break in the middle of doing my deposit after I have been sitting in the lobby for over 30 minutes. Have 2 people working on a Friday at 1:00. Very smart management!! Never had an easy time coming here even for a simple thing like getting change. Hopefully I never have to come back.

Rina Kennedy5I have never gone into this building but I do use the drive through ATM. 4 different times now, it gives out $50 bills. I never need a $50 bill but if you ever do, this is the ATM for you! *Edit* Apologies, this edit is long overdue. The ATM that was once only giving $50 increments now is giving $20 and $50 increments and is always well stocked (and has been for some time). Thank you! Heads up, the lines for the ATM here are never very long so if you feel like driving through or getting out of the car and using the ATM, it is a fast trip.
Response from the ownerThanks for following up, Rina! Have a great day. -Casey, Wells Fargo HL Social

Boy Aloud1Well, the staff is not very polite when you hear them celebrate that one of their tellers quit or and, or when a customer ends his banking relationship with them which resulted in a teller and a banker celebrating by dancing and i witnessed their conversation and celebration with my two eyes and I quote " he was annoying anyways, let's celebrate and do a dance!!!!!!!". I also witnessed a female teller years ago, named Carrie or Kerry eat her McDonald's burgers and drink at the teller station while serving customers, while telling her fellow teller about being more professional. (I thought she was kidding, but she was not). They really harass you about opening up credit cards ( Now I know about their high sale culture so I understand that the tellers have to do it, otherwise they get sacked). Do yourself a big favour and bank with a credit union or a reputable bank.

Alan Spencer2Disclaimer: I tend to write reviews of positive experiences with greater frequency than negative experiences- no complaining for complaining's sake from me. However... I took a friend into this branch today to close her account and ask for a fee reversal We are transitioning her to my CU (I've been banking with a local Credit Union for 3+ years now) and withdrew the majority of her funds down to < $1.00 at which point her account was charged a monthly service fee of $8.00 bringing her to negative $7. My CU would NEVER take an account negative for a fee. Anticipating a less than pleasant experience, we ventured in to discuss..and weren't disappointed. After waiting for a few minutes a teller asked how we could be helped and we advised that we wanted to close an account. Without hesitation she says she'll get a 'banker' for us- and that's exactly what we got. A Banker. Not a financial services rep. Not an account specialist. A banker. When we questioned him about the fee, his primal banker instincts took over as he fumbled over an excuse, attempting to rationalize taking the account negative. I asked for it to be reversed so the account could be closed and his response, again, failed to disappoint. "If there was a justifiable business reason to reverse the fee, I would. But hey, you're leaving us so why should I?" he said. Baffled. An exercise in great will power, I kept my mouth shut as my friend paid the final fee she'll ever pay again to a financial institution. This 'banker' has yet to make eye contact mind you as he collects the few dollars he can, hands us a receipt and says "thank you, have a nice weekend." Not one person asked her why she was leaving Wells Fargo or attempted to save the relationship. This banker thanked us for leaving. And you know what, he's welcome. He quickly he moved on to the next naive customer as I held the exit door open for my friend- now free to enjoy her future banking experiences, not fear them.

Edward Sweeney1I can't make a customer complaint beyond the bank level. I was given a number after several tries that finally was supposed to give me a real person to talke to. When I did call the number, someone tried to sell me something or do some other promption. I am very dissatisified. I don't think they have a proper forym for complaints.
Response from the ownerI understand how this would be frustrating, Edward, and I want to make sure the appropriate team addresses your concerns. Please mention your review and Google username in an email to [email protected] (no account numbers). I truly appreciate your feedback and look forward to discussing this further. -Nick, Wells Fargo HL Social
