vaidas l1Bait and switch Reached out to Webster First Federal Credit Union for a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) with my wife. We were advised by banks loan officer to apply just for the house refinance and do HELOC after, “it will be easier this way”. Wife was the only one on the house deed, so we asked the bank to add my name to it. Mortgage got refinanced, which cost us almost $5k. And that’s when the fun part started. We had to submit all the paperwork again; all bank statements for both of us, business loss and profit reports, pay-stubs, etc. Wife’s pay-stubs had to be submitted 3 times. By the time we were able to provide most recent pay-stub, the bank would state its outdated and more recent one was needed, though she gets pay-stubs every week. All and all our application got denied on the basis that my wife changed her employment and was at her new job for less than 2 years. When we tried to apply under my name we found out that I was not on the house deed, though all applications and closing signatures were done by both of us. Bank fixed their error in few weeks and we reapplied for HELOC. Got denied on basis of liabilities being more than savings, though bank accounts have much more funds than the liabilities we have. At this point I am not even sure they looked into our application. Not a happy customer. The bank wasted a lot of our time, money and energy to sell what they wanted and we are left without what we came there in the first place. Do not recommend to anyone.

Rick Wheeler1Called to get some help on an account and the lady could not have been more rude. Very condescending and acted like I was wasting her time. Pretty sure you are supposed to work for the clients. Closed account and would never do business at this branch again. The hopkington branch however is full of friendly helpful people.

M S1System is down alot. ATMs are also down alot. Rude customer service and on the slow side. When i called about my direct deposit, they said they had all day to put the money. I ask for transfer of money on a certain day, they do it another day. Talk about bankers hours. They have the worst hours for a working person. Also called to up the amount allowed taken from MY account at an ATM, plain out said, NO. Tried to explain that is not high enough. Said there was nothing they could do. Let us not forget the pathetic interest every month, once i got a few dollars a month, now, a few cents and i have more in the bank. Doesnt make any sense. Go somewhere else.

Vincent plastering5They value there costumers, I had gotten a check I ripped it a little & got it wet so went to were check was drawn from ,it was only for a few hundred $$ and signiture didn't match so called the guy to confirm , I said it's not even for much $ $ they said we protect our costumes ,after a phone call & security question they finally cashed it ,

L'rain Marshall1Worse bank ever! Only had them for two months and have had endless problems. My direct deposit checks get cleared on Monday. When I deposit checks online they take 4 days to clear. They shut my card off multiple times for fraud, instead of verifying if I'm trying to use the card. Then they don't even bother to call you. You have to call them! Terrible customer service. I encountered this extremely rude lady who just hung up on me. DCU is better! I'm going back to them.
