  We were referred to Waterstone Mortgage by a friend who was treated with respect by their staff two years ago. Our lease on the house we had been renting was up, and the owners sold it to an investment company. We had only a few months to move, and rent prices in Albuquerque in 2021 - 2022 were skyrocketing. We decided to see if we could finally purchase our first home. Christine Turpen and her entire team took on the challenge. She was respectful, knowledgeable, tenacious, and was able to help finance our new home in NE Albuquerque. We were completely new to the real estate world, and Christine's team were patient and took the time to explain anything we didn't understand throughout the process. Our loan covered a house that satisfies more than our needs with payments we can manage. This was possibly the worst time to buy a home in Albuquerque. We are so grateful that Waterstone was part of our team!

  My husband and I recently purchased a home in the Albuquerque Metro area and our realtor recommended we contact Jason Pike, with Waterstone Mortgage, in Albuquerque, NM. From our initial phone conversation with Jason, we were comfortable with his honesty, his patience with our never-ending amount of questions and we knew he would be the right choice to help us through the long and complicated process of getting a mortgage. He was detail oriented, responsive and above all helped us close in a very short window of time. As busy as the real estate market currently is, that was quite an accomplishment! We would definitely use Jason and his team again, if the need should arise.

  We recently finished the mortgage process for our first home with the Pike Team at Waterstone Mortgage. We were originally using a large mortgage company thinking the process would be more simplified and streamlined; However, we found that communication was lacking and being connected to a single agent for all of our needs meant rarely having our calls/e-mails answered. In the many times I called the Pike team, there was only one instance that I was met with voicemail, and Jason returned my call within the hour. Jason and his team were nothing short of professional, courteous, expeditious, and helpful the entire way. They exceeded all expectations, especially working with us long distance. The team was knowledgeable and accommodating with my VA loan. While your mileage may vary, the entire process took a little more than a month which was incredible and an additional bonus to using a local lender for our home was that Jason was able to coordinate on a personal level with seller realtors to ensure we had the best chance of securing a home. We would gladly choose the Pike team in the future, should the need arise.

  Jason Pike and his staff have once again crushed it. They made my recent home purchase so smooth and stress free.   Makayla my realtor was so patient while working with us! She went above and beyond on helping me find my first home! I recommend her! And Gabriela was also good when it came to answering all my questions! These two ladies made this experience the best.

  After being dropped by WF I said enough, I researched and looked for the best loan officers in my state, I did not give up, after much time I found Waterstone, wow, what a difference from day 1, NO BS, just friendly good people with no pressure tactics. I am in New Mexico, its taken 2 years and 4 tries due to covid courts holding up the process with extensions and delays, but Today I was Cleared to Close. I have Andrea who sympathized with my plight and fought with me to make it right. If you are in NM or have Waterstone Mortgage near you, I highly recommend you research them. Beyond emotional mess today and extremely grateful homeowner now!!!

  I would highly recommend working with Marty and his team. He helped my husband and I with the purchase of our first home! He helped us through the process and ensured all of our questions were answered. He treated us with kindness and respect and made the whole process easy.

  We had some unexpected issues during the sale of our old home and the purchase of our new home. Marty and Mikayla kept us involved and informed throughout the whole process and even helped us save money at various stages of the process.   Oscar Medrano Made the process of buying my first home A success. He showed me how to fix my credit were it need to be. Then made the process successful . When I am ready to buy again I would definitely work with him again .

  Sue and the team did a great job. She ensured there was a POA that would be recognized by the title company since I was not available for signing. The team kept us updated with the progress of the refinance and they were very patient with us despite several delays due to third parties.
