Washington Trust Reviews

Brian J Casale5Steven Veronesi and the Washington Trust team were exceptional; they saved me from my horrible experience with TD Bank. As a first time homebuyer, I had a lot of questions, but Steve was incredibly responsive to my calls and emails. He and the team were very clear on what I needed to do throughout the process. They took me on short notice, but we were able to close within 30 days with time to spare. Completely hassle-free and pleasant experience. I'd highly recommend to anyone. - Brian J.

Stephen Bergeron5Don't waste your time with the big banks. Steve Veronesi at Washington Trust did an unbelievable job with my mortgage. He has a wide variety of products to fit your needs and great rates. Steve took great care of us and was able flip our mortgage around quicker than any other lender. Don't chance missing your close date by going with a large bank who will lose your account and add delays. Would recommend Steve and Patricia to family and friends.

Ryan LeBlanc4Steve was very responsive and direct. He got us the pre-approval at night over the weekend while traveling so we could lock in our offer. Couple snags due to our processor being on vacation and the website isn't clear about which documents are submitted, but I can't say enough about how responsive and easy the process was overall. I had no doubts they would come through in the end.

Allie Fournier1I had the WORST imaginable experience with these guys! They pre-approved us but took weeks to give us an official approval, we would email them all of the information requested and then they would email us again asking for the same information. We had to request an extension on our mortgage commitment and then we had to request an extension on our closing date on our house 3 times so 3 weeks on top of the 6 weeks we had initially planned to close. If you have time and money to waste use them as your mortgage company. They will take days to return phone calls and weeks to return emails and the manager, hes untouchable! I regret ever agreeing to have them for my mortgage! Chris Connley and Kaitlyn Rahbald are the worst people you could ever do buisness with! I’m so regretful of this decision to have them for my mortgage. As a first time home buyer I never want to go through this process ever again and everyone I talked to said it was cake buying a house with their mortgage lender because they actually did their job. I basically did their job for them and they still took FOREVER to get their sh*t together!!

Paul Catalano1I could not be more frustrated working with Washington trust. Their online app has issues that they are aware of. They do not provide accurate timely tax documents. Their employees do not give correct information when questions are asked.
