Tracy Langseth4I could have been notified about the option to recoup my transmission cost in full from the start. That being said they did provide excellent customer service. I feel Nissan has created a no win for the dealership in this transmission issue. It probably would have taken breaking some Nissan rule to notify me but it would have saved me $800

Heather Bodiford5After my old car broke down in Andalusia yesterday, and the repairs were going to be more than the car was worth, I called Massey Nissan just to see what my options were. Johnny Duggan called me back shortly after and even drove to the body shop to pick me up! I left in a brand new Nissan Rogue shortly after. It was a great, easy buying experience. If and when I need a car in the future, I will make the trip to Andalusia to buy from them again.

Autherine Davis1Had a scheduled simple, routine oil change. Required a tire rotation. Within 10-15 minutes of leaving the dealership my tire maintenance light came on. I called the dealership immediately. Side note, raining heavy and roads saturated. I was instructed to come back to the dealership. Within 2-3 minutes, got a return call from the dealership. Was told to stop where I was at that point and they would come to me. Within 15-30 minutes, a young man appeared. He was very shy and acted afraid to talk to me. I was taken aback by his demeanor. We traded vehicles and he took a lug wrench from the floor board of the dealership vehicle. He preceded to tighten the lugs on all 4 of my SUV tires. We went back to the dealership and that’s where everything positive went negative. After doing something to my vehicle, a young inexperienced person came to speak with me. No apology given, no explanation of what may have happened and the information that I gave on the road prior to my tire maintenance light coming on, I was told that I probably hit a water puddle and that was what made the light come on. I was at the dealership from 10:50 until after 3pm. No lunch!!! It wasn’t until I mentioned my perception of POOR SERVICE RECOVERY that I was offered “tidbits”. NOT EXCEPTABLE!!! The routine oil change and tire rotation were performed, however the tire maintenance light was not reset as needed, causing it to appear there was an issue with your vehicle’s tires. As soon as our service manager was advised of the situation with your vehicle, he immediately instructed the service advisor to contact you back and send a service technician to you to ensure any issue with your vehicle’s tires was promptly taken care of. We do regret that once you arrived back to the dealership, there was poor communication from the service advisor to you on the status of your vehicle. This is not the level of customer service our customers have come to expect from our team here at Walt Massey Nissan! We take every complaint very seriously and would like to remedy the situation.
