  We had researched different banking institutions around us and felt that VyStar had everything we wanted and needed. Boy were we right! The Branch in Ormond Beach was a little crowded when we arrived but they were very responsive to let us know they would be with us soon. It was worth the few minutes we had to wait. Jennifer Shipman took time to listen to our concerns and what we wanted to accomplish. She advised us and helped us choose exactly what type of accounts we needed. She then meticulously filled out all our paperwork, provided us we necessary information in a very professional and courteous manner. VyStar is definitely a full service credit union and one we hope to be members of for the future. Thank you Jennifer! VyStar is lucky to have such a wonderful employee! We look forward to working with you and appreciate all you did for us.

  Amazing experience opening an account during a very busy time of day. Wanda Moore (Asst Branch Manager) went out of her way to help us when it appeared that no appointments were available in the near future. She explained every step of the process and gave us a roadmap to many of the additional services available, many of which we'd not considered prior to walking in. She was extremely professional, friendly and accommodating, making the branch seem like family, not just a bank. Would definitely recommend a visit here for banking needs.

  I needed to find a bank in Daytona/Ormond area to move to. I was specifically looking for a regional bank that can provide me some personal service and was also able to do boat loans. After going through some of the reviews, I decided on VyStar. Since then, I couldn't be happier in making the move. I primarily go to the Ormond Beach branch and working with the staff there is always quick, friendly and courteous. Over the course of a year I have been a member, I have specifically worked with Jennifer Shipman on two loans. One of which I decided to hold off on. But being able to work with the same individual was important to me. Not only that, working with Jennifer is a pleasure. She was very prompt and stayed in contact with me every day throughout the process. Even if I wasn't answering my emails she took the liberty to send me a text message. This is the personal service I was looking for! Overall, I am really happy that I moved to this bank.

  Jennifer Shipman is an outstanding & professional loan officer. She is exceptional at her job. We had no appointment and she took the time to assist us in our loan needs. Previously she also worked with us on our boat loan. She is the best!!!!

  I recently opened an account with VyStar, leaving the “mainstream” banking world behind. The staff at Ormond Beach branch have been superior! They are pleasant and it seems their primary reason for existence is to see to it, you leave with a smile feeling you have just made the best decision of your life. I am aware there are some hiccups with the recent change to their mobile banking system and that has created some less than savory comments. I am left with this thought. Is there ever a online upgrade or change that occurs without hiccups? At least the new system hasn’t gone online, allowing us to use it and discover the issues when it happens in our accounts in real-time!

  This review is for Sheryl Melendez of Vystar Credit Union. I was banking at Space coast credit union and looked for a different bank to do business. I had heard good things about Vystar so I made an appt with Sheryl. That was almost 3 years ago. Since that time Sheryl has been a guiding light for me and helped me every step of the way with all my banking needs. She opened my account, helped me apply for my credit card, helped me with my auto loan with vystar that I recieved, and finally helped me with opening by Business Account for Nangba Creations. Sheryl always had time to answer questions and in my opinion is most valuable to my Vystar Banking Experience. Vystar and Sheryl Melendez is the GOAT! Open an account! Thank You Sheryl and Vystar for ALL you do!

  I just recently opened new accounts with Vy star, at the recommendation of a friend. I recently lost my spouse and was fortunate enough to have Morgan Chrobot assist me with the opening of new accounts. She works between the Flagler Beach and Ormond Beach branches. She was friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate to my current situation. I also suggested to a relative to go see her to open up her accounts as well. If you are looking for 5+ service, I suggest you go see her. I was very impressed with Vy Star and Miss Chrobot.

  I've been telling friends and family how wonderful Vystar is until last week. Why does a company this large take more than A WEEK to get they're internet running. Could we use the old system until this one is fixed? Come on Vystar, you're better than this.

The online banking nd the Mobile App are now available for you to use. You will have to delete the old app and download the new one if you have not already done so.
